The game is good. It holds your hand a little too much on easier difficulties, but is realy difficult on the hardest setting. The graphics are good, really good for XBLA, but nothing to get over excided about. The story is amazingly well written. The gameplay is addictive, but no co-op. Honestly, I dont see how co-op would work for this game. There are a ton of side missions that fit really well with the gameplay. Overall, it was worth the $12. Good job EPIC.

Why should you get this game? Simple - It's a platformer like Metroid or Castlevania that has the heart of the old Duke Nukem games or even Mega Man. The level design is amazing, the graphics leave me in awe every time. Sometimes if you stay in a room too long looking for hidden objects, new enemies come. Secause of the setting it doesn't seem cheesy, it seems genuine that more guards would be coming to that area. It's the little things that makes this little game feel huge. Wikipedia for more.

I love Metroid. They're all great games. Especially Super Metroid! But I think Metroid M graphics look terrible to what next gen games should look like. I wish they'd just go back to traditional side scroll. And I never said it couldn't handle the same graphics as this game, I said they should of made a new Metroid with similiar side-view graphics because I don't think the Wii should go 3D for Metroid M. The graphics just look crappy. Still can't wait to play Shadow Complex though.
