I consider REAL deathcore to be the crappy stuff you're talking about. We definitely agree that common deathcore sucks the big one. In my opinion this is Technical Rhythmic Death. In fact, Animosity takes it as an insult if you call them deathcore. Their frontman said it himself.

In case you haven't noticed, the metal genre has become so evolved and complex that SUB genres are now typically considered to be genres of their own. OHmygodXoBil3 and I were not arguing, we were having a discussion. There is a difference. I simply label genres descriptively to be helpful to anyone looking for new music. Take technical death metal for example. Necrophagist and First Fragment are both tech death, but they are COMPLETELY different. So why not be more descriptive?
