I went to Walmart's on the 1st to purchase a nativity set, had a really bad experience, they don't even have them on an order form here? so I had to go back yesterday to pick up last of Christmas presents. After the 1st of Jan..they may get my food/prep $. or yarn(its the only place I can get it here.) not my alliance to a corporation who doesn't have navitities. But I have to go there as my bank is there. Has anybody priced a can of corned beef lately? just wondering..
@Woodsygirl62 I just went and checked at walmart(dot)com and they have 18 different nativities that you can order through their website. It's a shame they don't carry them at the store.

Per my husband, I'm not allowed to shop at Walmarts. . . : ( He is convinced they are the axis of evil. So, I'll just have to live vicariously through your deals. I DO love a bargain and those clearance shelves / racks the grocery stores put up are definitely worth perusing.

That somewhat changed when our eyes were truly opened and we became preppers in earnest. Then all bets were off. We live so remotely that we'd have to travel more than an hour to get to stores that sell similar products. We decided until we had loaded in the preps we needed, we'd use Walmart. I cringe every time I walk in there.
@CooksGarden The sale rack was sitting in the middle of the aisle, almost directly in front of the yogurt. Hope you can find a great sale rack in your Walmart too!
Americas Test Kitchen has a recipe for a Coconut Layer Cake that just looks awesome on their show and the recipe is on their website and one of the ingredients is the coconut cream. I went to Kroger and got all the ingredients EXCEPT coconut extract. All they carried were Kroger brand extracts and they only had imitation. So will have to find the real thing. Thought you might want to take a look to use one of the cans of Cream of Coconut you got so cheaply. Love your videos!

Great deal. I just love a deal. Matter of fact, I won't buy something unless it is on sale for the most part. If you just stick to that one principle you can save alot of money. Just stock up when it goes on sale. Love it.
