Wow all solids and from the prime Japan high craftsmanship era. People in on-line threads are raving about scoring these at way below the $700 price in 1978, and some Martin and Taylor people are agreeing that this ole banger is the shitz gem in the closet of all time.
No wonder this fellow had no qualms about puttin' the money in your pocket.
Myself, I would've cried on the phone at your verdict and price and asked you to put her out of her misery for me.
hi good day premierguitar are doing a" Fender Visitor Center Tour" on ther youtube site just key in = Fender Visitor Center Tour = if your interested. cheers buy
Great Video Dave! Got to put a L.E.D. light on my wish list lol. Always great to learn more about Acoustic guitars. Years ago I would just smash them or through them in the trash lol. Looking forward to how it sounds now!
Davey, if I'm not mistaken, that looks like the original CBS/Letterman Monkey Cam from the early 80's? Great score! Could this also be the "shop dummy" you've craved for so long? To see that unit and operator when it was Brand New, go to YouTube and search: Letterman - Monkey Cam. Love the modern stuff! Best 2 ya.
@Denvermorgan2000 Nope, it's because the wood dries/get's wet and flexes which causes the glue to crack. But if it's a new guitar and the brace is loose, it's due to not enough glue or a shock of being dropped, etc.
Nice ears dude hahaha

It's one of those that can be hidden in a teddy bear.
It will run off a 9v battery and transmit about 300 feet

What caused this is this because they didnt use enough glue at the factory?
