Among all Mesopotamian empires throughout history, I have the worst impression on the Assyrian Empire. I have an impression that brute force and cruelty described everything about the empire, with power being the empire's only value. I welcome videos like this that shows my impression wrong.
However, Hammurabi was a Babylonian ruler, not an Assyrian, and you cannot attribute his great contributions to Assyria. This unwarranted claim makes me question the validity of the rest of the video.

So perhaps you can attribute Hammurabi's contributions to the Assyrian people. However, I think it would still be unwarranted to attribute him to Assyria as a nation, for Hammurabi ruled Babylonia that existed politically independent of Assyria.
