@doncs19 its a prequel to the sereis. but it was filmed and released after its cancellation. i personally didnt really like it. there were some elements that were interesting but its very different from the show. in my opinion twin peaks is the best television show of all time, and the film did not live up too it.
Even if you hated the movie (like a lot of people did), the ending served justice to Laura Palmer. To see her happy and laughing and crying is something I'm pretty sure a true Twin Peaks fan will never forget.
This truly is the perfect ending for such an emotionally charged movie. It really resolves everything so well, and with such compassion and tenderness. Easily one of my top 5 movies of all time. And despite what most people think, I believe that this is a great companion to the show. It's a shame how overlooked Fire Walk With Me is.
@Nummysammich Totally agree. I think this is my favorite Lynch film. I saw this movie years ago and only started watching the series recently on Netfilx. It kinda spoiled a few things but with Lynch, it's always more about the journey, not the destination.
Visually, Twin Peaks (both the series and FWWM) is my favorite thing that I have ever seen on my tv, ever.
Cried like a baby during this scene when I watched the movie 1st, 2nd and 3rd time.

This is truly the most powerful movie I have ever seen. I praise the courage that all the cast and the staff gave into this movie.

@firetruckgreen Yeah! The journey with Lynch is the great. The destination is only the end. But a greatfull end.
