  • Sanda was knocked out

  • 0:51 your welcome.

  • KEEP YO CHIN DOWN ASSHOL! Neeexxxxt time i whip you with stick MUDDAFUCKAAAA!!!!

  • no le entiendo ni verga

  • Muay Thai owns! Only rookies in Muay Thai would ever loose against Kung Fu Chicken

  • sanda [san shou] a newly developed during communist government, you can tell that they copied everything from Muaythai,[even wearing short and angle] with its sidekicks, wrestling which Muaythai took out to make it less injury, sanda puts new rules, 2-3 points for putting person down[0 in Muaythai]..In Muaythai if you put person over the rope out off the ring willingly you lose the match.not so in sanda.

  • @xvidzzz anyway sanda is part of kungfu

  • muay thai can really beat chinese kungfu. in some sanda competitions, stupid regulations formed. so we cannot see real fighting.

  • @TheMrbeanmsia well i train muay thai..actually is funny cuz i was training muay thai in China and there i saw a lot of competitions of muay thai vs muay thai... they always fight..a lot of guys came from Thailand to fight with Sanda...and some times win sanda, sometimes wen muay thai..and i can really tell you cuz i was living there, i prefere Muay thai..but no one is better than the other..it just depends of the FIGHTER!

  • @TheMrbeanmsia well i train muay thai..actually is funny cuz i was training muay thai in China and there i saw a lot of competitions of muay thai vs sanda... they always fight..a lot of guys came from Thailand to fight with chinese Sanda...and some times sanda wins , sometimes muay thai wins..and i can really tell you cuz i was living there, i prefere Muay thai..but no one is better than the other..it just depends of the FIGHTER!

  • @TheMrbeanmsia It doesnt depend on the fighting style!!!

    It depends on the fighter!!!!!

  • El muay thai entrena a sus luchadores en la similacion de mucho castigo

  • defense form such as elbow strikes, chokes, and joint locks, are not allowed during tournaments

    check out elbow

  • the song is from Dynasty Warriors 3

  • for all who think mtand sanda are the same, please look again. sanda has more of a free form fightin stance emphasizin speed and quick recovery whereas mt has a solid stance where power and footin is favored. we see tis in that sanda fighters, with a few exceptions, are not heavy hitters. but mt fighters, also with a few exceptions, can be wrestle down. they look alike because ther is so very few ways a human can throw a lethal blow, but the execution in the throws are what separates them.

  • both style uses the triangle back for stability. we all know that muay thai has this form but kung fu did not copy this, atleast in modern times. sanda took this form from other style such as tai chi and wing chun.

  • Muay Thai is da best. We haven't copied from any countries..

  • @oollGiGlloo thai copied from Cambodia derp

  • Muay Thai is da best. We haven't copied from any countries.

  • muay thai is just great sanda insults true kungfu makes me want to fall asleep in vomit and wake up in hell. real kungfu is profound sanda is a copycat martial art with no signifigance real kungfu is all over the website wongkk.com its hard to find more real kungfu then that, also on muaythai.com there is real muay boron which is more traditional thai boxing. both are respectable technically thai boxing came from monkey kungfu so theres no real comparison. kungfu is all

  • get to the point, the good shit starts at 0:51

  • Gee, one VIDEO DOESN'T PROVE ANYTHING, GOD, WAT ARE U GUYS, ALL HITLERS TRYIN TO FIND THE BEST RACE OF THE WORLD AND ELIMINATE ALL OTHERS? I came here to watch awesome fighting cuz i was bored, and then i remember why i dont watch them anymore, ppl keep arguing.

  • People need to stop aguing about this situation. It was just 2 guys going at it. 2 guys do not represent the overall abillity of a style. You can't really talk down on either Traditional arts or MMA styles, they are utilized in different ways. It might be like this, a Kung Fu Master got his ass kicked in a match with a MMA champ, what if you take off the gloves and say no rules? It might be different. Overall it comes down to the person using what he knows.

"Its not about style, it's about you.

  • kung fu????????????????????????????? idiot

  • In addition, the jaw is tucked in and protected well in a fight, and even if you hit it... the op can roll the neck and body 'with' the strike.. thus the power is reduced severely. because a fighter will tuck the chin, it makes forehead closer to u, easier to score on. Its not very easy to roll off the energy from that type of strike, with good effect. Balance & orientation are effected much more so than a round shot., And its much harder & slower to recover from.

  • @xiaou2 yes I'm familiar with the principles of Wing Chun, I was actually a big fan of it and wanted to learn at one point until I realized there are almost no videos of anyone being effective with it. I've seen plenty of sparring and matches with headgear with wing chun but they never end with just two punches to the head. They are usually drawn out and sloppy.

On top of that I've never seen anyone use WC in a big time MMA organization where the fighters are HIGHLY skilled. Top Ranking.

  • @themadtwatter2012 - Very few vids of good practitioners. 2Kungfu guys Ive fought r not on video...but they trounce anything Id ever seen & sparred. I was 1of the guys who initially was sloppy & failed under pressure... UNTIL I got good & understood/fixed my mistakes. one time sparring, I lost my temper & nearly broke a mans knee w/15% kick. U cant display WC 100% truthfully, without major harm to the op. Which is why good ops r rarely if ever seen on video.

  • @xiaou2 I mean no disrespect to you or what you've learned, I just can't accept what you say without having seen the caliber of fighters you have faced. I'm an MMA fan but I do think they are very marginalized as of late. There are a good deal of techniques they seem to never utilitze. Pak sao and lap sao are very effective trapping techniques, coupled with the elbows of Muay Thai and kung fu hammer fists. I'm surprised other fighters don't utilize these in MMA. Especially when close to cage

  • @themadtwatter2012 - Thats good actually. Should never believe nor deny until u have experienced things 4urself. 1 KF guy I sparred had about 7 styles under his belt, including some JKD, 5 animal, TKD, & much more. I Never would have thought those shaolin animal styles (deep stances) would have worked at all under the pressure & speed of 'modern' sparring styles. Wrong. He was able to pull off moves & trickery that kept him safe, or blew me across the room. The man was Incredible.

  • @themadtwatter2012 - So,boils down2the artist. Is the tech perfected2 maximum potentials? Can operate it @full speed/full power/under pressure? Do u fully understand techs & operate correctly, @correct time, against the proper techniques was designed4? Did u complete the system & know all the ways the system works(options), including recovery methods? Do u have solid basics down pat & good conditioned body? Have lots of experience sparring outside the system? Every factor adds up.

  • @themadtwatter2012 - Btw - there are elbows & hooks in WC.(they r pretty much in every art) They r taught in 3rd level of WC, along w/ thrusting finger strikes. Not everyone makes it to 3rd level tho.

  • Lets make this clear once and for all ;

SAN DA is a distillation of the Traditional Forms of Chinese Martial Arts which incorporated Throws & Sweeps.

Muay Thai Kickboxing does not allow throws , suplexes or wrestling like moves.

If a SAN DA fighter fights under MUAY THAI RULES , he would loose.

Likewise for MUAY THAI FIGHTERS , under SAN DA RULES , you THROW TO GAIN POINTS and your THROW MUST BE CLEAN.

Throwing is good to tire out your opponents.

  • @MDIS Muay Thai has many sweeps and throws that come mosty from the clinch/plum and San Da doesn't alow clinching for more than a few seconds.

  • FUCk OFF Chink!!!

  • FUCK KUNG FU!!

  • @K1MuayThaiMMA1 FUCK YU KUNG! O.o

  • FUCK KUNG FU!!

  • muay thai and sada arent martial arts. are sports.

  • i think it depends of the fighter i mean any martial art skills are better than another i mean example i play kick boxing my enemy kung fu tought one xP if i use my inteligence i probably can beat him... =P thats my opnion rofl xD

  • San Da is a made up martial art and yes it does borrow heavy from muay thai. san da looks nothing like real kung fu. San da is invented by the same people who developed Modern Wu Shu both fake martial arts.

  • @chanheurng

wow your smart can you tell what is real Kung Fu?? lol

do you even know the term Kung Fu stand for?? lol

  • @codeagent47 The Cantonese word Kung Fu Means Hard Work. I trained Hung sing Choy Li Fut and Lion Dance for 11 years and am very versed in the culture of Kung Fu.

  • @chanheurng

nope, Cantonese is a Chinese dialect spoken by Southern Chinese people. you mean the Chinese character right?? because there is no such thing as Cantonese word.

Kung Fu, not entirely means hard work? Kung Fu is mostly means great-skill, or achievement through hard work.

  • @chanheurng its not even a martial arts lol, wushu ,sanda is "martial sports" its a sin to call its martial arts. Its just sports ,not very good in a street fight, unlike winh chun ,which is real non-fancy kung fu.

  • @MechPhantom true that, I love Kung Fu with all my heart but the modern stuff is bullshit. It was invented by Communists.

  • @chanheurng yea lol even now the shaolin monks or shaolin kung fu is also bullshit coz its practicing modern wushu and shit, never the real traditional stuffs anymore. Only a few left that teaches realt chinese MA,they are Shi dejian , shi de yang . They rest are bullshit wannabes lol. Thx for ur comment, ppl should know what u hv said, coz its soo true.

  • @MechPhantom wushu means martial art or martial skill kung fu is hard work or skill gained by hard work

  • มวย ไทยถ้าจับทุ่มมันผิดกติกาครับ เรื่องจับทุ่มมวยไทยไม่เคยฝึก

  • NO CHINESE KUNFU FIGHTER IN THE VIDEO!

THE GUY IN THE PROGRAM IS ONLY ONE SPORT CRHRONIST!

  • good muay thai fighter, able to win even though at a disadvantage

  • the chinese copied muay thai into sanda and called it theior own. old school sanda swung their arms like u watch on kung fu movies. muay thai is still the best striking art. u will never see a sanda fighter go toe to toe with a thai fighter, only attempts a take down.

  • @moelicious416 nope sanda is not thaiboxing . its boxing + tan nam kicks + shuai jiao .

  • @TheMyns

SAN DA = Allows throws and sweeps

MUAY THAI = No throws only sweeps

From what i have seen - SAN DA is highly aggresive as compared to MUAY THAI which is more defensive in nature.

SAN DA fighters shout whilst fighting but MUAY THAI fighters does not shout.

The Shout = To provide explosive power.

So as you can see , Sanda & Muay Thai is completely different.

Yes SAN DA does imitate Muay Thai ( due to Bruce Lee's Lost to a Muay Thai Fighter in Chiang Mai Thailand ).

  • @MDIS Bruce lee lost to a Muay thai fighter? @_@

  • @MDIS

In fact, last I recal Bruce Lee had a very tough fight with the myau thai fighter, but won and send him in hospital. Also, my karate instructor did Muay Thai in Thailand for a year under intensive training (about 8 hours a day) and he said to me that Muay thai WAS the most aggressive style of all. They even teach how to use your natural aggressivity. Muay Thai match are short, and thats why they most do it that way. Sanda is like chinese boxing = sport application of kung fu

  • @Shaman2760 Also. Kung fu has many variety, some very traditional that are not even efficient martial arts in the goos sense of the term. Wushu mean art of war, or art of fighting while kung fu means someting similar. My teacher told me that the average muay thai fighter where stronger that many other style fighters due to their great conditioning and aggressivity. However, when you enter the true master level like Mas Oyama and ppl like that, you don't see any muay thia figter.

  • @Shaman2760 Muay thai's derived from muay boran. Muay boran was used in battlefields. You go with swords. When you lose the swords, you have only two bare hands left. Now you try to kill opponents as many as you can before you get yourself killed. This's what muay boran is all about. You dont have to be at the true master level to kill someone. Besides it'd be wasteful if someone with the master level died from being stabbed from behind in battlefields because it's time consuming to master.

  • @MDIS neh bruce didnt lost on that story bruce punch the muay thai guy one time before the muay thai fighter could touch him . bruce knock him out . the muay thai fighter is one of them that is hire as a stuntman for the show . its in some documentary of bruce lee . you can find it on youtube .

  • @MDIS In fact sanda just gets the ideas from muay thai that basic punches, basic kicks, basic knees, and basic elbows are the most effective techniques. You dont see any fancy moves or any traditional kung fu moves, for example, chain punch, in sanda.

  • @TAC412

i hate it when people compare sanda to MT, as if it was some sort of ripoff. wake up, morons. sanda was developed long before all the muay thai hype.

and fyi, all those fancy moves serve a basic purpose. they just either look cool for performance purposes, or are exaggerated for concept preservation. most sanda takedowns, locks, and strikes can be derived from various forms in chinese martial arts. the same can even be said for the elbow strikes, clinches, etc. in muay thai.

  • @jakeisawesome91 noob please learn more about the history of muay thai and kung fu before you say something silly and make yourself look stupid

  • @TAC412

why don't you go learn both before you run your mouth? i swear, all the people who accuse others of saying stupid things don't see the bullshit spewing out.

  • @jakeisawesome91 Oh please tell me where was sanda a few decades ago? huh smartass?

  • Comment removed

  • And oh, no no sanda was invented way after muay thai O_o" use ur common sense please, if sanda was invented before muay thai, people around the world, except the chinese, would think that muay thai was some sort of ripoff sanda. I hope you understand sir

  • @TAC412

sanda was created for the KMT, with the help of russia, and later adopted by the PLA. it was an integration of sambo training methods and traditional kung fu concepts. go read a book, dipshit.

  • @TAC412

and btw, i never said sanda was created before MT. it was created before all the MT hype.

  • Comment removed

  • @TAC412 mm i think its more like, they focus on long range atacks and close range grapple. its a mixture of chinese kung fu tats what i read. i dont really know what fancy move u talking about in traditional kung fu unless ur talking about the one where its for performance.

  • @TAC412 because chain punches are not effectives with gloves, fighting with boxing gloves and bare hand is totaly different in the striking defense and attack.also traditional kung fu use pressure poing and killing blows(finger strikes to the eyes throat and hears)im not a kung fu guy mysel but you have to know that.

  • @ajja18

your right kung fu have finger strikes throat and hears

and actually lots of kung fu strikes and deffence move can't be done with the gloves

  • @TAC412 - To this date, Ive knocked out 2 Jujitsu fighters Easily with a 2hit chain to the forehead. 6" distance, with only about 15% power release. A tech is only as good as its trained & perfected. Ring fighters are rarely trained with any real depth. And if they were, it would take them 5x as long to be readily effective. Time well spent, if you want superior skillsets that actually work on the street. Ring fighting is nothin like the real deal.

  • @xiaou2 dahm! You poe sez skeelz far greatah than ta ring fyetah. But choo coo naw fye in ta reeng with them. 15% powa release is homo sex in ta reeng sun.

  • @xiaou2 lmao you knocked out two guys who aren't strikers by any means.

That's like saying I slam dunked a 6 ft basket on a 5 year old. Big whoop.

And while you're banging someone's forehead and real ring fighter will drop you with a good one to the chin.

Lets see you pull that in an MMA organization, film it.

Then we can really give an accurate assesment to your claims.

After all you can still chain punch with MMA gloves on right?

So there ya go, challenge is set.

  • @themadtwatter2012 - many MMA fans think strikers cant land on grapplers b4 clinch. & Ive KOd other Striking Stylist's as well.(all w/ MMA gloves on & minimal power) The way Wing Chun Kungfu works, is that u dont launch your attack until the ops defenses have been cleared. So, no jaw strike will b thrown. Not only that, but the time & distance difference between jaw and forehead is extremely minimal. dont take much to ko. just good efficient technique. Many cant due to losses & ops absorb techs

  • @themadtwatter2012 - Best part about the forehead, besides the better bone to bone conduction.. dumping power right into the brain, is the fact that the head is snapped backwards. Which if the 1st hit is light, gives time for 2nd hit. No more than 2 should b needed. 1st hit = Neck fully bends back, so 2nd hit cant be absorbed by the ops neck motion anymore. Which means about +10x more power is actually transferred 'effectively'.

  • @TAC412 sanda comes from kung fu or wushu

  • @1000michelxxx so wushu has no chain punch and kung fu has not tiger claws anymore? Is it because chain punch in wushi is ineffective, thats why sanda doesnt have it? :D

  • @TAC412 you do see traditional kung fu moves like the spinning back kick

  • @TAC412 sanda doesn't in fact get it's strikes from muay thai. it actually get it from traditional chinese styles. serioulsy do your research.muay thai in fact gets it's strikes from neighbouring nations' styles such as cambodian boxing, lehhwei and a selection of other styles which all in fact trace back to kung fu. so which style has got ideas from another style. obviously the other way round. plus sanda is a more practical way of trditional chinese styles.

  • @zoheb8765 I said get the ideas dumbass. I never said that the techniques are from muay thai. In fact all martial arts pretty much have the same techniques, what makes fighters different is that the medthods of training.

What sanda got from muay thai was how to train effectively and efficiently. So next time, read my comment thoroughly.

  • @TAC412 so according to you, sanda fighters train like a muay thai fighter?

  • @wiredtoawall Kind of, but not completely. They, at least, know that by training though physical punishments work more than training through philosophy. Do some reserch about modern kung fu such as sanshou.

  • @TAC412 i know what sanshou is, however I was referring to more specific training techniques not the overall training. Also, traditional Chinese martial arts also train physically, its just that under modern times the idiots prefer to emphasize the philosophical side and totally ignore the physical

  • @TAC412 Seriously make your mind up, first you say that sanda guys get ideas of how to train from muay thai then you say 'kind of, but not completely'.

Secondly, I have read your comment thoroughly, wheather or not you said Sanda guys took techniques from MT but got 'ideas of how to train effectively and more efficiently', your basicially saying the same thing (excluding the fact that they got ideas for how to train; look at the first paragraph for why) because to train you must learn techs.

  • @zoheb8765 And no, muay thai, lehwie, bokator are so different from kung fu and they're so not related to kung fu.

  • @TAC412 yes infact they are. all these styles you just mentioned come from Indo-Chinese influnces thousands of years back. theories come/came from traditional Chinese styles.

  • @zoheb8765 No they are not. Siam, where it's Thailand today, was heavily influenced by Great khmer empire (Most centre of thailand and cambodia today) and the great khmer empire was, if I'm not wrong, was influenced and clsoely related to India.

It'd sound more reasonable to say that southeast martial arts are modified Kalarippayattu, the first martial art in the world from India.

  • @TAC412 yes you did say that 'In fact sanda just gets the ideas from muay thai that basic punches, basic kicks, basic knees, and basic elbows' so don't try to deny it.and this ain't the only vid where you've said sanda gets techs from MT, there are several others.

Seriously make your mind up, first you say that sanda guys get ideas of how to train from muay thai then you say 'kind of, but not completely'.

before you tell someone else to read your comment(s) you should try doing it yourself

  • @zoheb8765 i really want to stop this silly little argument and recommend you stop trolling otherwise shut up. both styles are respectively good and i wasn't offending MT but just correcting you.

  • @TAC412 sanda uses traditional kung fu kicks and punches not any thai moves, san shou fighters have different punching has very different principles of power development so the comparison cannot be made. you cant do fancy moves with boxing gloves on your hand sanda is only a sport not a style, complete kung fu contains complex hand techniques because it is meant for a street fight.

  • @TAC412 i like the fact that people looks at sanda fights and with their experience from watching kung fu movies, they immediate jump to conclude that its not traditional kung fu but something taken from muay thai or so so... kung fu patterns and aplications are very different... why? because chinese schools do not like to get their techniques stolen and so they conceal their moves in patterns...

Also, you cant chain punch with big gloves and sanda takes WC center line approach into acocunt

  • @BerserkN00b do not worry Kungfu is not good ,no one will copy it.

  • @unimaculata your right its sooo bad that muay thai can still lose to it

  • dude true but sanda was made in the military, and later adapted as a sport, the result was similar to muaythai. however sanda actually consists of grappling, striking and weapon defense. the sport sanda gets its ideas from traditional kung fu as well as military sanda. where the straight 4ward kicks and punches are most effective. the development of sanda had actually very little to do with muay thai.

  • @TAC412 look, the thing is that you're a little bit confused, Sanda was created in response to Muay Thai, is like the chinese version, is kung fu of course but it's adapted to a ring, in fact traditional muay thai is not what they use in MMA or K1 and so on.

  • Apart of all this, everybody should understand that there's no supreme martial art, the fact that one martial art is better tha other is just bullshit , don't waste your time trying to know wich is better, there might be a fighter better than other but not a martial art better than other. I tell you this with all the respect you diserve, just to make everybody understand this, I'm pissed of with idiots saying this martial art is better than this other. Thanks for your great comment! Regards

  • @TAC412: Fuck everything good in this planet copied from you!? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TAC412 actually those basic punches or basic kicks and elbows are not so basic afterall but are components included in several old kung fu styles as well. sandas movements are not copied from thaiboxing, but rather a very simplifed fighting system one can use with gloves on. there is also takedowns, which sports thaiboxing doesn't have

  • @DonMega187 you are delusional. kungfu kicking properly wih their shins- right!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @gloomn8 mandaring mandaring~... that sounds cute.

  • @TheMyns you are wrong, Sanda have many styles of kung fu is not just those forms, like shaolin (north and south), hung gar etc.... Sanda means "free combat" so they use a lot of weapons. Of course the style of Sanda is diferent in many places of China, but it looks so familiar. Sorry for my bad english

  • @moelicious416 the watermelon is not much better style is the muay thay sanshou is very hard and ugly I am practicing kung fu!

  • @moelicious416

no Sanda didn't copy Muay Thai!! in case you didn't notices, that Sanda and Muay Thai are both adapt to boxing for ring sport!!

So you really thing Kung Fu movies define Chinese Martial Art?? Sanda in real life does not like in the Movies. I think you watch too much movie!!

  • @codeagent47

To tell you the truth with respect to Chinese Culture and Traditions , SAN DA is more of a distillation of all the wushu ( Kung Fu Forms ) and is the modern full-contact variation of the more traditional forms of full contact sparring.

SAN DA does borrowed heavily from Thailand but it also incorporated the South East Asian Kickboxing forms whereby - Throws and Sweeps are allowed.

Muay Thai Kickboxing does not allow throws ( Suplexes / Wrestling like moves ).

    Respect

  • @MDIS

Not real,, a lot of people mistaken that thinking SanShou and Muay Thai look the same. However, SanShou and Muay Thai using basic kicks and punches because it's a ring sport. Sport-fighting can look very much the same. More overly, if you learned SanShou, the kicks is very different from Muay Thai. SanShou stresses more on side-kicks and high around-house kicks while Muay Thai stresses more on Knees and low around-house kicks.

    Respect.

  • @moelicious416 bro here's a tip, search up a fighters named Cung Le or Lui hai long

  • เสร็จมวยไทย

  • @Saiga76239mm spanish would be fine too,

  • @christo0895

You know I dont speak spanish! in english please! what!? You ate a whole wheel of cheese!? lol

  • @Saiga76239mm , lol I was just saying that both good MMA & kung fu clubs should be aware what kind of person they are teaching & how they are teaching them, because no sane person would want to make a 'bad/evil' person better at hurting others. I believe a fair amount of the traditions & philosophy present in good kung-fu is there to ensure the student is/becomes a 'good guy'. In bad kung-fu it is often used to distract & hypnotise the student into blind faith in the system/ teacher. btw you US?

  • @Donkyfishy So would pig latin

  • @jalbroven91

lol I have used abbreviation and modern 'texting' techniques to save on space. I assumed my statements would be easily legible to any UK or USA resident (above a certain IQ). I am also going to assume you understand what I said and this is all just abit of a fun. By the way, do you agree with my previous statement? just curious..

  • @Donkyfishy You assume correctly. Reguarding your previous statement, yes I agree. That's how I feel about it too. Those who teach martial arts should consider what kind of person they're potential student is. Unfortunately I don't think many teachers really care whether or not they're students are good people. Maybe some of the more traditional teachers do care but if the practioners I've seen are any indication then it doesn't matter in MMA if the person is a total dick.

  • @Saiga76239mm

    Good for you.

  • @Saiga76239mm

Learn some history you ignorant fuck..

  • Masters are like Parents.

    Teachers are like Parents.

They are figures to look up to, learn from.

There is no use for you and I to argue, I have stated my case, and you, yours, I wish we could settle this with a sparring session so I could prove to you, how narrow your mind is, but alas, I cannot, all I can ask of you now is to fight with your mind humbled, and your mouth silenced, speak with hard fists, and powerful kicks, not flowery fists and embroidery kicks.

  • Emporers, nor any noblemen did not employ monks to kill others, simply because Monks didn't want to, it was against their way of life.

Once more, swords and spears may be outdated for battle, but Morals, Teachings and Traditions are not.

I never said I was the "final authority" I merely stated my opinion, and conveyed the opinion of millions of others who feel their martial art, and their fighting style has been stolen from. Read up on history, learn some moral, then come backto debate withme

  • Saiga, Kung Fu was created by Shaolin Monks, who followed a strict way of life, they kept to themselves, upheld the life teachings of Buddha and so on and so forth, I would argue further to say that those who killed and raped women and children were called "Mongolians" had you learnt a little world history and Georgraphy, they were the country a little north of China, continuously raiding the outer settlements of china.

  • MMA is in my view a dishonourable abomonation of many martial arts, shamelessly stealing moves, techniques, tactics from every other respectable martial art, and calling it's own. And the reason of training a person is not only to teach them to fight, but instill values in them on how to fight the proper, polite, and honourable way..

  • @kakarot00676

I do agree with you, but nothing will work.. i wish mma wherent created, i hate those stereotypical ignorant American fucks, they only think about themself's (Not talking about all americans..)

  • ImI, indeed your right, nothing will work on changing their view, words are basically useless with most of them, I've sparred with a few MMA fighters, not all of them are ignorant and proud, some are humble and very open to the idea of every other martial art, but the only way we're going to have to prove to them that MMA isn't the ultimate martial art, is to spar, because theres no best martial art, only best fighters.

  • @kakarot00676

Thats excactly what i think to

  • there are martial arts that make you become a better fighter faster than others though :P

  • you are right!!!mma rwally sucks...if you wanna study a martial atr like kung fu or jiu jitsu or judo, karate well..you'll need an entire life...so how can can you put all of them togheter and study without the right philosophy and mentality?in the mma the istructor gives you for ex. some kicks of muay thao, some takedowns of judo, the grappling of jiu jitsu...and this is very ridicoulos

  • Times change, Tradition Remains the same.

  • And as to the Warfare question:

it is because swords and spears have no place in the modern wars of today, now they need ranged weapons, Guns, Bombs and such things, Times change, the rules of engagement change, the weapons change, things hardly stay the same because everything must change and adapt to modern life.

  • Thats slightly offensive, but lets carry on.

Combat though it may be, but what about the morals and teachings behind the Combat? things like "flow like water, find your centre, claim your root, calm yourself" the reason why many fighters lose fights is because they have no principle to guide them, they rush, and they get easily rebounded, Culture, Tradition, and the Master's Teachings are what make Kung Fu an effective fighting style.

  • But then who are we, if we have no culture? nor any tradition? can we call ourselves Chinese? ofcourse Sanda is an effecient fighting style! but without the original traditional fighting style, where would sanda be? perhaps not everthing in KF is suitable for fighting, but it depends really on the skill of the fighting, Sanda is good, very usefal Martial Art, but the art doesnt define the fighter, the fighter defines the art.

  • Sanda and San Shou are not ShaolinQuan though, are they?

It's more modern, meant for competition, I dont have a problem with it, but I prefer traditional Hung Gar, Tiger/Crane. =]

  • i know a girl who beat up three men with kungfu O_o they were perverts who were being gay to her and she beat them up!

  • i dont think u have randyds5

  • so randy do u fight against muay thai fighters ?

  • this aint kung fu...

and to react on some comments here kung fu is effective martial art
