  • i wonder where this machine is now adays

  • Wow, I never thought I'd see this again, it sure brought back some memories!

  • i remember this from years back when i had a sesame street VHS. what a wonderful memory!

  • Woah...I just realised most of the little songs I hum to myself are from Sesame Street!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a little cutie at the end!

    Jim Henson.....Thank you

  • i will show this to my kids one day. just like my dad taught me.

  • from 1974

  • I loved this when i was a kid, like really loved !!

I think this is my favorite sesame street short :)

  • i totally 4got about this i reamber it right when i saw this. wow

  • goodness such innocent times... children's program when they were all about teaching.

  • This was Frank Oz' directorial debut

  • Keith Vernon Textor and Jim Henson are the composers.

  • I don't know how the ball did all that rolling. Most of the time it's rolling on a flat surface, & some parts it even looks like it's rolling uphill! Hmmmm.

  • I love the hippie music......I bet when this was made everybody was on the bong.....

  • HIPPIE music??? More like circus or carousel music, don't you think?

  • PC XBOX 360 PS3 got nuthin on dis sh*t mang! heheh.

Seriously, i may have found the reason for my liking of repetitive and a bit simple things.

  • I think my mom preferred the version of the ball being ground up. That's because whenever THIS one came on, my siblings & I always ended up pestering her for ice creme!

  • Omg I can't believe that I would ever get to see this clip again!! This was my favorite Sesame short. Still is!!

  • loves this, this is like the ball on the roller coaster track

  • This used to make me FEEL like I was on a roller coaster! & I used to think the little girl @ the end was Shirley Temple! A fun little piece!

  • The little girl at the end is Heather Henson, Jim Henson's youngest child!

  • That is correct. Very good that he passed these things down to his kids!

  • Thanks! By the way, which voiceover do you think sounds more natural, the boy in the original version with the ball getting ground up or the girl in this version?

  • about the same

  • What do you mean?

  • I could never tell which voice was the new version.

  • How come?

  • The dubbing was done well.

  • Okay.

  • Yay, I was looking for this forever!! 20 years later it's still in my brain.

  • one of my most memorable sesame street bits....sticks in your mind for ever

  • wow! brings back good memories of simple times. =)
