I agree with you completely. I see a persons sexuality (at least concerning genders) as a line with men on one side and women on the other. Everyone's somewhere on this line, you can lean more torwards men or women but there most likely are a few exceptions out there for both gay and straight people. Even for bisexuals, as I am, we're not 100% in the middle of this line all of the time. Some prefer men, some women. It can change over the years too, speaking from experience.

I don't believe that sexuality is a choice, but I think you have to think about it in steps. 1, if you feel a deep connection for the someone of the same sex that's great! Be friends first. 2, think about whether you're actually physically attracted to them. Could you picture sleeping with them? If it just weirds you out or you can't get over that feeling that those things are wrong, then it won't work but you'll still be great friends!

@shangrigreige i remember crinching, getting really uncomfortable when my boyfriend asked me about this guy i payed a lot of attention to. This physical reaction made him even more worried (I seemed very guilty) while in my mind I was so focused on NOT looking guilty, after all - my boyfriend was the only one I had feelings for, and that made me even more nervous. We humans are attracted to beautiful beings}men or women{ in this case, and we always can feel connected with any gender if you do not believe in labels... Labels were created to put us into only one place and not to have many options or be freed thinkers..because of the way we were taught to perceive the world... For me, I am really free minded and I can relate to almost anyone in this world because of that... and I can say that I can appreciate both men and women in all of their ways ;-)

You probably won't read this but I felt compelled to respond: Your implying that 80% of people are bi. I disagree. 1) For the people who had sex with the same sex. That doesn't prove they liked the sex. They may have done that in Argintina because it is acceptable, but it doesn't mean they are bi or gay, etc. 2) You heard someone in Argintina say this to you. Doesn't make sense to base your entire thought on that one persons ideas. Maybe that person is bi with a biased opinion.

@shangrigreige i remember crinching, getting really uncomfortable when my boyfriend asked me about this guy i payed a lot of attention to. This physical reaction made him even more worried (I seemed very guilty) while in my mind I was so focused on NOT looking guilty, after all - my boyfriend was the only one I had feelings for, and that made me even more nervous. I agree that things are a bit more fluid than we realize. I'm a straight woman, but I've had sex with a few women. . .
