peteq1972. It's not "cant we macgyver something". The quote is from the 2 hour series premiere "Children of the Gods" and it goes like this "It took us 15 years and 3 super-computers to MacGyver up a dialing system." Carter was looking at the DHD-(Dial Home Device) on Abydos when she said that.

Now about this clip this is supposed to be a comment on...I love this clip, it's LMAO funny. I love the look on RDA's face when he turns to look at the camera.
