New Getter Robo/Shin Getter Robo '04 is more of a summary of the original Getter manga plot. Go watch it.

It's good because its hard and so many of the new SRW aren't (MX, OG1, etc) but the game itself makes it frustrating. If you play the PS1 SRW3 on a PS1 theres HUGE load times for everything (triple or worse than Alpha, which makes no sense because the PS1 one is barely better than SFC SRW4) and you cant skip the battles so levels which should be passable in 20-30 minutes take an hour or more of seeing the exact same animation over and over.

EX is another SWR game for the SNES, but isn't 3. As far as I know, there's four for the SNES: 3, 4, EX and the one that deals with Cybuster's world, which isn't really a Super Robot Wars game anyway and has a different graphical style. EX itself deals a lot with the Cybuster world, with three different scenarios.

I think that ones called Super Robot Wars Gaiden- The Lord of Elemental, but I could be wrong. Basically a side story. And one of I think two non SD games in the series.

Some of the units are from Gundam, yes. In this game, all the main UC timelines are available up to F91, minus 08th MS Team.

Sorry, I replied to this but Youtube ate it--you have to convince her with Duke Fleed of the Grendizer, I believe. She doesn't join, but she gives you the Sazabi she happens to be carrying--where she kept it, and why she didn't pilot it instead I don't know.

Oh, and: While the UC mecha are very powerful in the early game, later on they become mostly useless. Funnel units, however, not only do a large amount of damage, but also are extremely accurate, have a large range, and are immune to Beam Shields, so the Quebeley is top-notch in this game.

Er, not sure why my message didn't get posted, but no, it's Puru/Plle, not Haman Karn. She's one of the bosses, and her Quebeley has 5x the HP of Qubeley Mk II!

That's because he dies in the anime. You can save him sometimes though.
