  • i have a job lined up where i will be taking Subway designs and making blueprints of them with autocad. i wont be doing any original design. do you have a video that will show how to do that? rite now im looking at a completed blueprint and it looks complicated

  • @anonymousQ45 ur not doing any design, ur just copying it to autocad. Start with the basic structure then move to detail. make sure to have different layers for different stuff. like electrical layer, measurements layer, comments, walls, etc.. what do you expect him to do for you, copy it for you? good luck at your job. put music while doing autocad it helps you focus ;)

  • Hello! please help

when i want to draw a line (l+space/enter) i first insert the first point, then select the angle and then type the length, let's say 50...but only a small dot apears...if i zoom in,i cand see the line but then when i use annotations they are to big, bigger then the drawing....any sugestions? thank you and sorry for my bad english.

  • @radumbm

try to change the scale of your drawing line

scale ...set a value like 2 to double the size of your drawing ..or for example 0.5 to make the size half the original one

  • @mrhadioden thank you for your answer.

But given the fact that i'm a beginner i don't know how to change the size...so if you could give me more details i would be grateful.

  • @radumbm

    ok follow this

for Dimensions.....write..(" D " + ENTER ) then dialog box appears its name dimension style manager choose "modify " ...then ..its will appear at the right of the dialog box " the scale "..which it will be 1 one ..you can then change it to 0.5 for example ..then the dimension will appears at its half original size

for text the easiest way is .write the text ..after that ...write "(' SC " + ENTER ) ..then you have to select the object which is the text that you wrote

  • @radumbm Try zoom all, hit z space bar a space bar

  • thank you man you helped me a lot i have a midterm tomorrow and i have been absents the first 3 classes and this is help me a lot thanks again
