No, sorry but no. Crosby has a gold medal, world jrs, and better overall stats. It's not even compareable really, Crosby is better offensively and defensively, Ovechkin doesn't score as well as Crosby does, and Crosby actually plays in his own end. Honestly if you really think Ovechkin is better, you don't know anything about hockey.

Sid or Ovie? Sure Ovie's career stats are slighter better with his goals total, but you can't keep stats of positioning, hustle, and grit. Sid skates his entire shift (Ovechkin cherrypicks and rarely backchecks). He's great defensively, in the faceoff circle, and has offensive skills that I think are better than Ovie. If Sid took as many shots as Ovie he'd win Rocket Richard every year. And one thing you can't measure is leadership. Or maybe you can by Stanley Cups. Sid 1 (So far) Ovechkin 0

I think ur the one that doesnt know shit about hockey. It's true that Ovi can shoot and score, but thats about all he does. Crosby on the other hand is a playmaker. He has amazing stickhandling skills and serve great passes to his teammates that wouldn't score otherwise. As for the Stanley cup win, that was a team effort. Without Crosby, the Pens might not even made it to the playoff in the first place. Oyea, one last thing, Crosby also shot the Gold winning goal for Canada.

Ready Crosby Has a Stanley Cup and Olympic Gold Medal. Those are the most important things in hockey. O and he also has awards like an Art Ross Hart Pearson Richard. Plus 4 100 point seasons and has 506 points at the age of 22. But ye no chance he is better than Ovechkin.
