I prefer TLC because I think they were just better, but then I think DC never became what they could have as a group, even if they eventually got a lot of fame. Just my 2 cents though.

The little album that had 2 #1 singles and acquired them 2 more Grammy Awards. Not taking anything away from DC but they didn't truly explode until their lineup change in 2000. Had April 25, 2002 never happened, DC would have had some major competition in the new millennium.

So you really cant compare the 2 bands by album sales. they have the same numbers but when DC came along mp3 was destroying discography... I believe that if both albums came at the same era writings on the wall would outsale craze sexy kool... But i do like tlc more. no doubt about that

Whatever the case, this debate is rather late and tired so I'll just enjoy TLC's timeless music.

I think TLC is better than Destinys Child... I just groove more to TLC, something about them seems more real... they are great women, and LEft Eye was true to the heart. Destinys child had alright girls and Beyonce is becoming someone different than what she used to stand for. TLC will always stand for the same thing, and spreading positive vibes. Don't think I can say the same for DC, who at the end of their group days they were about sexuality and TLC kept the message going....
