Juries are to not only judge the defendant upon the evidence, and facts of the case. Juries are also empowered to judge the law itself. This is why the Founders gave us the Right to a Trial by Jury. Bad laws must be nullified by the Jury.

The instuctions are simple and straight forward. The penalty for breaking your oath of office(treason) is death. Hmm But somehow we keep electing and allowing them to commit treason. Why? The government (Supreme Court) should not be deciding what the law should be. The people are the ones who should make the final check on the laws our government passes. Jury Nullification is that final check.

This is a part of the power struggle that involves judges who want to legislate from the bench. IF they were to instruct the jury properly, they would lose that control.

Dr. Paul should absolutely start including this topic in his current campaign speeches/interviews. Educating potential voters with regards just how much power the individual has would IMO be very enlightening to most people and just might be an issue to get a few 'off the fence'.
