If CO2 is a major forcing, as they'd have you believe, then you must ask why it wasn't warming the Earth. CO2 has never been a driver of temp.

The Global Cooling trend is actually for ten years, since 1998. Yes, there was a small blip upwards in the early part of the decade, but the trend is still one of cooling.

Global warming WAS an accurate fact several years ago. But current global seas and climates show a cooling trend for the 4th straight year. The warming trend is now a cooling one.
47 Million years ago, the earth was so warm, that Europe was a rain forest and the ocean at the north pole was warm enough to swim in. The last ice age started to end 12-13 thousand years ago, a trend that still continues today. Did man cause all of that climate change? Considering we, as a species have only been around a few tens of thousands of years, I find that highly unlikely. Cap and Trade and all the other green movement crap is just an attempt to seize power.

ice - tropic - ice - tropic - ice - etc...
And we are currently in the mid range from the last ice on our way to tropic again.
But isn't it possible that, with all of the physical changes to terrain and chemical changes in the atmosphere, We might be having some impact to prematurely speed it up?
I am willing to concede that man may have contributed to a slight increase of the speed of natural warming, however, when you consider that the worlds active volcanoes spew more greenhouse gases than humanity combined you see how small of an impact we have really had. My point is, that world temperature has been more severe in the past on several occasions than what the current climate models are predicting. Man didn't cause those and he didn't cause this warm up, either.
It is more than just greenhouse gasses. Add those to the mass deforestation + reduced wetlands + surface area of paved roads, parking lots, and blacktopped buildings + heat from combustion engines, nuclear plants, coal plants, etc.. + ocean dumping + river damning + other factors.
I agree that the climate goes through cycles and we are not the sole cause, but to think we don't influence it at all is naive.

I didn't prove anything either way, I simply stated an observation. Many of the variables I listed have direct impacts on the environment that are unrelated to CO2 levels, this by no means makes them harmless or excuses them from a warming effect.
Take a look at the historical geologic records, global warming is fact, the only question is what kind of role are we playing in it.

If CO2 is a major forcing, as they'd have you believe, then you must ask why it wasn't warming the Earth. CO2 has never been a driver of temp.

47 Million years ago, the earth was so warm, that Europe was a rain forest and the ocean at the north pole was warm enough to swim in. The last ice age started to end 12-13 thousand years ago, a trend that still continues today. Did man cause all of that climate change? Considering we, as a species have only been around a few tens of thousands of years, I find that highly unlikely. Cap and Trade and all the other green movement crap is just an attempt to seize power.

I agree with your general comments about the history of climate change. If you look at the chart in most geology textbooks you will see a pattern of
ice - tropic - ice - tropic - ice - etc...
And we are currently in the mid range from the last ice on our way to tropic again.
But isn't it possible that, with all of the physical changes to terrain and chemical changes in the atmosphere, We might be having some impact to prematurely speed it up?

I am willing to concede that man may have contributed to a slight increase of the speed of natural warming, however, when you consider that the worlds active volcanoes spew more greenhouse gases than humanity combined you see how small of an impact we have really had. My point is, that world temperature has been more severe in the past on several occasions than what the current climate models are predicting. Man didn't cause those and he didn't cause this warm up, either.

It is more than just greenhouse gasses. Add those to the mass deforestation + reduced wetlands + surface area of paved roads, parking lots, and blacktopped buildings + heat from combustion engines, nuclear plants, coal plants, etc.. + ocean dumping + river damning + other factors.
I agree that the climate goes through cycles and we are not the sole cause, but to think we don't influence it at all is naive.

Taking into account all of the variables you listed, human activity accounts for 0.28% of all CO2 in the atmosphere. If you include water vapor we creat 5.53% of ALL CO2 in the planet.
Additionaly, current Hurricane forecast for the year were just reduced due to Cooler seas. And show an actual cooling taking place currently.
Global warming is nothing more than propaganda.

I didn't prove anything either way, I simply stated an observation. Many of the variables I listed have direct impacts on the environment that are unrelated to CO2 levels, this by no means makes them harmless or excuses them from a warming effect.
Take a look at the historical geologic records, global warming is fact, the only question is what kind of role are we playing in it.
Are we major players, minor participants, or simply observers on the sidelines?

actually the scientists working for the companies who pollute our planet. they know that soon prosecutions will be handed out unless something is done about the environment and it would be cheaper to put a couple of filters on their factory chimneys and process some of the waste. Lets gets serious about things, electric cars and clean energy have been around for at least 50 years. BUT NO! the companies have to make their money first and be able to monopolize the new clean energy sources.
