  • I wish I could afford your brushes :(

  • You are the most intelligent, down to earth makeup artist on Youtube, without a doubt.

  • Lisa, every time i wear make up I think of you and say to myself this is how lisa would do it

thank you dear I love you

  • Lisa, I started using sun-screen recently and found that Neutrogena Dry Touch 30 is the best use for me since it doubles as a primer. However, I read that "chemical sunscreens" cause free radicals, which causes aging (wrinkles) and possibly cancer. Now I am hyper concerned about this finding and I am researching whether my Neutrogena Dry Touch is one of those bad ones =/.

  • u are very beautiful Lisa ! love all of your videos . i even got a british accent from you . haha

  • wish you can also do hair tutorials !

  • Love your videos. What would you suggest for a sort of invisible foundation or tinted moisturizer for dry, pale skin that needs a good bit of coverage? Most things I try are very obvious on my face, and I'm a fan of a more natural "I haven't done anything" look. I've tried mostly MAC, Josie Maran and Revlon stuff. Not too expensive and available in the US would be ideal. Thanks!

  • Lisa, I must say I'm absolutely impressed with how talented you are. Your talent and your radiant personality make you so pleasant to watch and a role model to follow. Thank you.

  • It's look likes Chistian"

  • this is a really really lovely look, thank you!

  • are you a cool or a warm tone ?!

  • lisa you're so pretty! i'm jealous that you can just throw on some mascara and no eyeliner. thank you for this vid :)

  • You kinda look like Natalie Portman

  • Such a youthful hairstyle, i love it! :D

  • Would you be able to do a natural makeup look with an asian that has monolids? I have "hidden double eyelids" but it basically looks like a monolid...and I find it so hard to do eye makeup. I want to follow the whole "V" thing and eye socket thing, but I feel that it is better suited for double eyelidded people, not monolids :(.

  • love love love your hair in this!

  • at 4:15 you look like Helena Carter. It's fun how makeup transforms the face.

  • You are such an outstanding role model Lisa! You are very professional, knowledgeable, classy, graceful & glamourous yet down to earth & plain speaking at the same time.

Although I am much older than you, when watching your videos I feel like I am having a conversation with a dear friend who shares my passion for makeup & has so much to teach me.

All we need is coffee and chocolate after a day of shopping together & it would be perfect!

    Thank you Lisa

    Donna xoxo

  • @aussiedonna50 thank you so much Donna, what a wonderful compliment x

  • This is what I needed! Thanks Lisa!

  • i love your videos.

  • I love your approach to makeup, just subbed. Also, you remind me of Liv Taylor!

  • could you a video on how you style your hair? it's gorgeous!

  • wow. looks so gorgeous *___*

  • @Lilyloupot MAC always makes me break out anyway, so that isn't that bad, I would say that it is worth spending a little extra on concealer, I use one by bobbi brown and it is wonderful and lasts for a lot longer than drugstore ones. Hope I have helped! (I'm 16 by the way)

  • Relvon sells brushes? we don't even have it here in singapore!

  • what do you with creasing of concealer?

  • i think you are brilliant

  • This is just brilliant. I can't wait to go to work to do this look. Thank you so much for this and all your great and inspiring videos. They are such great mood lifter on top of being incredibly informative and helpful. I can't thank you enough. Please keep up the impartiality with products as well. This is so rare if not unique. Can't wait to get my hands on that Nars lipstick as well.

  • did the aqua cream crease at all?

  • I absolutely love that you also use lower end products that are equally as great such as elf and revlon

  • Lisa, you are abs gorgeous in this video! Luv the MUFE aqua cream it looks fab :)

  • Lisa, you are abs gorgeous in this video! Luv the MUFE aqua cream x

  • it's pretty and I would wear it out, but metallic for university? it's not really practical for students or taking the time to conceal with a eyeliner brush. it is really pretty though

  • Great. Thanks.

  • Hi Lisa! Love your channel. You have such beautiful skin. What skincare product would you recommend for a 37 year old?

  • what's my makeup doing ? i worry about that all day!

  • Lisa you are so naturally beautiful ! <3 your videos / and accent lol

  • Subscribed.

  • could you do a video for drugstore foundations please? i love products like the boobi brown natural finish, but i truly can't afford them. thanks!

  • @chr0nicbookworm she used bourjois healthy mix foundation on "no make up' make up video, and her skin looks great with

  • i just used this video for the makeup for my work experience! lol she really does know her stuff.

  • i really enjoy the way you talk... u have a verby nice voice xoxo.. i love u... ive been practicing using makeup according to urs hehehee... thanks a lot Lisa :)

  • Will the MUFE Aqua Cream not crease?

  • @sobazaar it's a cream eye shadow that dries a short while after putting it on - therefore it should stay all day

  • such good make up and tips! love it! :)

  • ur so humble lisa, you use Elf, maybelline, and revlon??? other "guru"s are snobs and slaves of MAC!

  • Comment removed

  • @ncrc15 and Chanel

  • @ncrc15 Or maybe they just like the quality of the higher end products?

  • @ncrc15 I agree! I love that she uses a mixture of both because there is high quality in drugstore brands and she shows that you don't have to spend a fortune for the same result! :)

  • @ncrc15 Well I should say SOME drugstore brands :) I Don't want to make a blanket statement :)

  • @ncrc15 that doesn't make someone a snob just because they buy more expensive products :<

  • Wow. I love that lipstick. Where'd you got it?

  • your are fantastic!! i am really impressed with your work :) xx

  • Lisa you are so pretty without make up too 12:43

  • I've watched part 8:10 ten or fifteen times, because i love the way you laugh, there!

So sweet how you say: "But...It's not working..."

Lisa,I love you and your Videos! :)

  • I love your videos! Can you make one that talks about how to become a successful makeup artist?

  • do you think the eye shadow (MUFE aqua cream 2) would suit a skin colour around MAC NC45? You've got lovely fair skin & it shows up so well... I'm wondering what type of payoff it would have against darker, yellow-based skin. Thanks xo

  • looks like Bella Swan!!

  • @bautfulgirl i thought i was the only 1 who thought tht

  • LOVE your hair in this!

  • I just bought this aqua cream and It's gorgeous !! But everything looks gorgeous on you Lisa ...

  • I didnt even know Revlon has their own brushes. :O

  • I love all of your tutorials. Your skills are so very beautiful. As are the results. Every look seems to capture the mood that you are striving for. The videos have helped expand my skills with application, as well as using color to express my individual tastes. Thank you for having this channel.

  • You look like Natalie Portman.

  • My thumb hurts from putting it UP so often, hehe. I love your videos and learned so much from you. *thumbs up*

  • What eyelash curler do you use? :)

  • @SamanthaJessicax can't you read? It shows on the screen . gosh

  • beautiful! thank you! hugs :)

  • i was about to ask the same thing. do you recommend the elf concealer for dry skin?

  • @Snoo1809 or what reasonably priced concealer would you recommend for dry skin? meaning not high end, like chanel.

  • is the elf studio concealer good? would u recommend it?

  • Gorgeous! I love your hair in this video as well! Do you know of a drugstore dupe for the MUFE eye color you used? I'm in the US.

  • @studentoffashion you can sharpen it with a regular eyeliner sharpener,I would highly recommend the NARS one because it has 3 settings on it : a small normal sized one, a larger one and then an insert in that larger one that you could take out to make an even bigger hole to fit things like the eye bright inside :)

  • I love your videos Lisa, so easy to follow and you explain it do well I just wish I was that good at applying make up

  • What do you think about Laura Merciers setting powder instead of estee lauder one?

  • does the elf concealer have a good coverage? x

  • I love ur video!! U are so pretty:-))

  • does the elf concealer have good coverage? i was looking into purchasing it but i wasnt sure if a higher end concealer would be better to splurge on

  • you look like bella from twilight :o

  • Love it

  • thanks for this vid. what type of color would you recommend to achieve this glowy smokey look on light brown/ olivy skintones??? this particular color blends right into my skintone

  • I love this look. But I usually stay away from cream based eyeshadows cause they tend to crease throughout the day.

  • @shoebox112 use a good eyeshadow primer and you won't have that problem :) try urban decay primer potion!!!

  • you my darling look exactly like mary louise parker :] very beautiful

  • @songhug TOTALLY what I was thinkn! I was about to make this comment, but u took the words right out of my mouth. They are ageless beauties, aren't they?

  • how do you sharpen the eye bright pencil!?

    please answer):

  • Hey, what would you recommend for everyday eyeliner? I want it to be quite natural so should I use brown eyeliner?

  • So glad I discovered your channel!!

  • Would this work on someone with olive/brown skin tone?

  • @lilaznkouk it will almost blend into your skin and look barely there. that is my experience with that type of shade.... I myself am wondering how to achieve this effect on well tanned olive skin

  • you look like an older-version of kristen stewart :D very good tutorila :D

  • I have an interview tomorrow morning- will def be trying out this look. I wish when wearing this gorgeous look it'd guarantee me my perfect job lol! :(

  • Your hairs are beautiful ! I would love to see a tutorial on this hair style :)

  • What was the name of the product you used to keep you from getting hyperpigmented on holiday? I have major hyperpigmentation issues so that seems like it would help, especially now that it's summer. Thanks!

  • Hi Lisa, this is a really nice video!! I have a question. What eyeshadowcolor is good for blond girls with blue-green eyes? It should be for everyday at college :-)

    Thank you :-)

  • @axiokersa490 Thanks!

  • I thought to use concealer just to lighten dark circles and do not cover pimples. I have indeed heard that with the spotty concealer only further highlights ... super great video! x

  • You're very beautiful!

  • do you think you culd find a model or someone with pretty bad dark circle's (or u can use me) nd make a video on how to cover them nd with what:)??

  • Lisa, I was wondering who your necklace is by? :)

  • It's really nice - you do great work Lisa. This look though I find is a little much with the silvery eye shadow all over the lid and that stretches out of the eyelid.... a bit too glamourous, say for a law firm or an accounting firm or a bank... maybe for work if you work in marketing perfumes or in sales for anything a little fashion-oriented.

  • You actually looked a bit like Natalie Portman in the 'after' picture. Gorgeous!

  • i love your videos lisa... you're amazing, and so easy to watch! thank you!

  • Dear Lisa, could yo please tell me what was the sun cream you mentioned in the beginning of this video? Thanks, xo Nadia

  • Wow, you look so pretty with your hair back like that! Great tutorial, only recently started watching your videos and I really like them, thanks!

  • I get so bored watching make-up tutorials BUT - I love watching yours. Thank you for being clear, having a beautiful voice and look! ;o)

  • so you used a product to keep yourself pale on holiday? why?

  • @cheerismylife421 to protect my skin from too much damage especially on my face x

  • @cheerismylife421 its called skin cancer and acne scars. are you 11?

  • @cheerismylife421 A darkening of skin pigmentation is a sign of skin damage, ergo, if you don't use sunscreen in the hope of getting a tan, you are deliberately damaging your skin (thus increasing your risk of cancer and also speeding up the ageing process of your skin).

  • @cheerismylife421 do you have to ask why??? I mean everybody should know how damaging tanning the skin is, especially for people with sensitive skin. Anybody who cares about their skin would know this!! :\

  • you look like a Greek Godess with this make up!!!!!

  • Hi Lisa, very lovely look. What brush did you use to apply your blush? Thank you!

  • this look is beautiful on you lisa!!

  • I love watching your tutorials!

  • @kimau97 oh my gosh, i heard that too!

  • i love how you look at 4:42 so bright, clean, and beautiful!! you remind me of robin for how i met your mother in some of your vids :

  • is there someone laughing at 10:08

  • is it just me or is there omseone laughing at 10:08

  • Could you please give me your skin(: ?Your really beautiful, i have mild acne and now don't even like walking downstairs without makeup on, i watched your video for covering it up and it was really helpful. I was just wondering, as you seem to be quite the makeup expert, if you had any suggestions on cutting down on makeup, without people noticing? Thankyou(: x

  • is elf good? im always skeptical about it

  • @kawaiikai00 it's fairly good :) for the price im impressed

  • you are just so beautiful!

  • LOL! 'several 9 and 11 year olds' - it's funny to think of you having a normal home life going on while your background and cam work looks so professional.

  • I love how you describe colors: minky, aubergine, autumnal, and my personal favorite: tawny.. didn't even know that color existed :p

  • I've enjoyed watching this tutorial a lot,and i keep on learning. Thanks Lisa...i'll practice and practice until i get close to your looks. :) xxx

  • Wow ! Your videos are fabulous and very informative :)

    Ellen xxx

  • @MonkeyOnTheContray you can get make up forever on guru makeup emporium.com which is uk based :)

  • Isabella Swan ... ? :)

  • "Annoying spots" :) Know EXACTLY what you mean! ;)

  • I really love the eye shadow, and I've looked on ebay and the actual 'make up forever' website, but they don't sell it. I went on Sephora.com, but they don't appear to ship to the UK.

Where can I get it? Where did you get yours?

  • I love the two rings you wear in most of your videos. Where did you purchase them if you don't mind me asking.

  • Hi Lisa I love your videos -they are so inspiring.

I was just wondering how come you don't use mineral foundation powder? Are they not so effective in your opinion and is liquid foundation better to use?

I've been switching alot between brands for mineral powders and although I think the results are much more natural, I don't think they last all day and do not always cover up spots, dark circles around the eyes etc. On the other, hand I think that liquid foundation tend feel much thicker

  • is the brush part of the No7 bigger than the mac 190?

    Does anyone know?

  • this look is sooo pretty! i really want that eyeshadow now lol! <3

  • Hello I'm Iris V. from Holland and I'm 14 years old. I was wondering if you could do a look for teenagers like me who are going to school and don't want to look over done. just a kind of a nude look but just a little bit more. And maybe you could use products that are a little less expensive becouse people like me mostly don't have enough money to buy chanel products or something. I hope you can help me..

    XOXO Iris.

  • Your hair is lovely. Can you do a tutorial?

  • do you think it's wrong to put concealer under foundation?? because my concealer is thick and creamy and cakes up if i set it with powder..

  • I love your hairstyle :D

  • Really awesome tutorial, thank you for sharing it with us.

if I might have a small request: could you teach us how you did your air? The side braid thing, in particular, I think it's just spectacular!

  • Beautiful and simple! Thanks for sharing!

  • Hi Lisa:

I have bought the same AquaCream you're using in this tutorial but I find problems to extend it with my brush, same shape Mac 217 has, but cheaper: it doesn't take almost any product when I rub it in the pot!! Is that normal? Could it be because the brush is too soft and this type of cream eye-shadows need something "harder"?

    thanks!

  • ahh... you use concealer in reeeeally tiny areas, only where you actually need it.. i should try that. i just use a big foundation brush because it's faster lol

  • just discovered your videos through wayne goss' videos. thank you so much for your videos! your methods and philosophy have been SO helpful for me. Question: what did you use to secure your braid to behind your ear?

  • Good point about minimal make up for work - you can't take someone so seriously if they're rockin a distracting look. I took the dog to the vet the other day and the vet (a young woman) was wearing SO much mascara... I couldn't concentrate on what she was saying! I couldn't stop looking at it!

  • this is stunning!!!!

  • You are so lucky that you have a nice upper lip.. i dont know what to do with a thin upper lip, and i feel like i cant even wear lipstick at all :(

  • @TheZeelee cheat one ..like I do my lower lip. Nude/neutral lip pencil and some Lip Fushion plumping colour gloss ; )

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom Yeah Im really intrigued by the lipfusion gloss, now i need to try it out!

  • You should do a tutorial on you rhair on this video!

  • i love how you did your hair here? how did you do it?

  • is the no.7 foundation brush from mac?? i have never used brushed for foundation and i have no idea what kind of brushes or sponges to use for what. Do you have a video on that? that would be very helpful!! thanks! i love your videos

  • @JolieBlossom Boots no.7 is a brand, that I think, sadly is only sold in the uk although I might be wrong. You can get similar brushes from nearly every company. Its mac equivilant would be the 190.

  • @thevenusunderground no 7 can be found at target! :)

  • @JolieBlossom No. 7 is a brand in the UK. Not a number from one of MAC's ranges.

  • You kind of remind me of Natalie portman

  • That foundation lookes great :-)

  • Hi Lisa,

Im at my 2nd year univerisity.. and im just starting out with makeup! So what would you suggest I should buy as a basic starter kit of products that may help me start up..Im about NC40 in mac shade.

    your videos are amazing! xx

  • Lisa,

what do you do to your hair?

I've been admiring it for the longest time ever. it's lovely
