@xthomastragedyx quick question though, crank walk is caused by thrust bearing failure? I repair big 11-16.9 liter engines where i work, and that is usually what causes crankshafts to have catastrophic failure.

@halosux4life theres a few reasons why crank walk happens it just varies on the engine, but on the 4g63 is because the crank shaft housing was made just a little bit to big (like .00001 of an in) and over time the crank will move into that tiny space, making CW. any car can walk. but depending on how the engine is rebuilt, crank walk almost never happens, like maybe 5% of the motors produced have it, mainly its just because the owner doesnt take care of it

@TheFatboi1992 I used to think the same way you did. Hondas have lots of available engine choices, and alot of power can be made with money well spent on good parts, good mechanics, and tuning. The problem with most Hondas is their light weight doesn't aid in traction, and they are all basically fwd. Once I purchased an awd turbo 4g63, I've not looked back at to Hondas. You get more bang for your buck. Plus, no Honda motor can make the same power in stock form as a 4G63T except for maybe a K20.

@americanidyut im actually considering changing up my setup...instead of an ls trans im thinkin of puttin the crv awd . im begining to start rippin my tires off my rims at 15.7 psi this h23 on that much boost has the best torque curve ever....im thinkin of pickin up a 90 laser awd swapped with a built 4g63 .the one i want has a bad shift fork and is stuck in 3rd gear
