@Brynjulvify Not really. The snakeboard is much more versatile. You strap yourself into it, and you propell yourself forward with your upper body - Never have to take your feet off the board. You can do spins, flips, grinds, carve like crazy... The turning circle on a snakeboard is unbelievable.

@Brynjulvify No. Take a look at my other video 'How To Ride A Snakeboard / Streetboard'. The board is split into 3 parts. Two footplates which pivot left-right at the kingpin, joined by the central crossbar. The trucks are solid & do not 'flex' like skateboard trucks. All turning is done by turning your feet / pivoting the footplates, and your upper body is what propells you. I suppose it is similar in that you carve in figure 8's like on a waveboard... but its a much better feeling.
