@dwarfflambe That does seem like a really dumb idea. But, the "key" (the two halves of the green stone) didn't actually unlock the door. The key's purpose was to release the guardian spider. The door would only open if the guardian spider was defeated. So the spider wasn't going back to Apocalypse's tomb to open it, but to guard it.

So I was just wondering how on earth he manages to bend it to a degree that allows him to polejump the way he did to break in to worthington manor.
