All one can do is all one can do. Change your life, and especially your buying habits. Support only green companies (or as best as possible) and become a vegetarian. (yeah, yeah, at least reduce the amount of meat you eat to a sustainable quota & buy only organic meats raised in sustainable ways.)
Greed will always exist. Acting as a responsible human and choosing who you support monetarily is your most effective means for change.
you need to speak less and listen more if you think only republicans pollute the earth. everyone pollutes the earth. you and i. everyone. we all could use less. we all could give more. the earth has given us so much and only asked for balance in return.

@dullsvillain - And algore turns out to be the biggest polluter and crook of the bunch. Real good comeback there dulls! It would be good I he practiced even 100th of one % of what the lying basrard preaches. How much does that private jet put out in the way of cleaner air anyway?
Dear, your voice is very nice. But I am not understanding what you are saying. I am making project on earth mother. Please write me its meaning. Thanks in advance dear youtube user DouglasinPhily
I suggest the melody is the grandchild of some common musical ancestor. It shares some elements with Matty Groves which I believe is the grandchild of the same ancestor. When I wrote this, I knew of Matty Groves but done by another artist. I Think some tunes are part of our musical D N A. I present this not as a defense of this work but an explanation
Always was a favorite tune for me, and how sadly adequate it still is... Man learns much but changes little... "All because of greed". It is this anthropologist's view that, albeit playing god and becoming a master at bending the earth to his will, the human has not yet learned to control his own self.... and thus has not quite evolved as much as one could believe. Earth Mother... some of your children are still here... for how long? Stands to reason, the Earth be better off without 'us'.
Great song and video. Interesting that the old Coke (I want to buy the world a Coke) ad was used. This song was from 1971 and it's theme is still true today. Kinda sad.
Yes. It was Jorma. I was there in Wally Heider studio in SF watching this being recorded. They did Jefferson Airplane,Bark, Sunfighter, and a Hot Tuna album in same 1971 session nights. I think work was being done on a Papa John Creech album also.
Jack Traylor & Steelwind did this song 1st...Jack wrote it...his student Craig Chaquito was the lead guitar in that band...they opened for the first Starship tour on East Coast. saw the unbelievable show in Providence....a wave of energy dripping psychedelia carried 10 people ( THRU the air seemingly) to the stagefront to gladhand Papa John Creech!
Do yourself a favor and just buy it. You won't be sorry. I just listened to it yesterday. Heck, I bet they have an "expanded" version out now - I should go buy it again.
Cruised on by to have a listen to this great, before it's time song and album, and here you be. Kinda thought you might have come along in the past to view this.....
Hey there CJ----Well how do ya like that...I was just musing over this to 1947Classic (Douglas) not an hour ago...and here YOU be...I'm thinkin I'll set off from here in search of Wolf Pack
sounds awful and it has the papa creech freak with his fiddle trash music. so i will not buy this.

Great song. Still fresh and poignant. Sadly, their last great album from that era. Afterwards, everything seemed irrelevent and somewhat hollow.

@kharmakreep
No. J Kaukonen only is credited with having played on one song off the "Sunfighter" album. According to the liner notes, this line-up was:
Jack Traylor - guitar & vocals
Greg Chaquico - lead guitar
Spencer Dryden - drums
Papa John - violin
