Miele W 8115 with broken bearrings

Yes the Bearings were always abit prone to failure in these. Freely available as spares though still today. A Good little Work horse these machines, plenty of Variation in the programs and lik e the WPS Series also had excellent Agitator Action and load sensors. Other than the sometimes sketchy bearings a 'classic' performer.

@MinusOnePlusZero Really? I worked as an engineer for them for six years - in the UK they put a ten-year warranty on the drum & bearings. Didn't carry any bearings on the van as they were such a rare failure. Carried 5 sets when I worked for Hotpoint!

The dishwasher is from 1998 ;) But it has water damage, so it'll go on the scrapheap. It costs too much to repair the pump.

I bought the Miele and the Siemens from a (class)mate of mine. It costed me almost nothing, so I didn't need to think long ;)

Well... The bearrings make the drum rotates smoothly. In this case, everything was rusted so the rotation wasn't smoothly any more ;)

Ik ben op dit moment de Miele aan het repareren ;) Er komt nog een vid van de reparatie en daarna komen natuurlijk een paar vids van wanneer hij weer werkt ;)
