some tua will do tat but some don't...for wat i knw nw adays alot of tua does'nt practice this anymore..wat is the reason i nt sure liao...:-)

U see, sometime those medium they don't want to use the real red ink that sometime they slash their tonuge to make some blood come out to make it as a red ink.

i tot tht those helper of the god will usually cover up the god face if he is slashing his tongue? Surprisingly this temple does not lol

Yes, most Tua got self mulitation of weapon play when they are inviting or sending off Ti Gong.
