Ainge wont start for at least 3 years, especially the preseason bret ratliff had. JETS had no other choice but to keep 4 Qb's and not risk loosing a young qb on the wire, that could become the next bret favre. you never know. Look at alex smith 1st player drafted in 05 and niners are gonna cut there loses with him. and Tom Brady a 7th rounder and won 3 superbowls. you never know with Qb's in the draft until they play in the nfl

The fact is Ainge is completely overated. I mean he looks like a qb. He is a mediocre player with good protection, and has no accuracy at all over 15 yards.I know alot has to do with UTs predictable offensive style Even his youtube highlight reel is little rinky-dink passes that the receiver is making a play after the catch. you have no idea what you are talking about. ainge is a pretty good qb, but he was kind of a headcase at ut. the reason he did so horrible in '05 was because fulmer decided to let him share time with rick clausen(who had no business starting in the sec in the first place). as a result, his confidence was shot. if anything, the pressure of doing well in NY will get to him before anything else. he's got a great arm and good accuracy from short to medium range. this is coming from a ut fan.

Ainge hasn't thrown more than 1 interception in a game this season and has thrown only 5 in total. He's also only going to be 22 when the next NFL season starts, and there's definitely a huge difference between being 24, like Woodson, and 22. In my opinion, he has so much more potential than the supposed Big 3: Woodson, Matt Ryan, and Brian Brohm. Consistency is his only problem at this point.

I watched this kid at Glencoe Highschool Jr. Year(Hillsboro Oregon) down by 18 against Sunset Highschool at sunset,Ainge rallies them and we score 3 td's in less than 6 1/2 minutes and win by 4!!
