  • I use an AL-80B. Great amp. Thanks for keeping it American made, Ameritron!

  • Your vid is a favorite on Nouakchott

  • I'm new to your video's and just wanted to say how much I've really enjoyed watching them. I've learned quite a bit. You all are a great bunch of guy's and look forward to seeing more. Going on the MFJ tour was fabulous to say the least. Thanks again and keep up the great work you do.

    Regards,

    Mark

  • I want the AL-1200. but that 1500 is sweet to. and that was like going to a candy store. thanks for taking us wih you Sir, 73 De W7EIB

  • Glad you enjoyed the tour. We had a great time doing it. I would not turn down a 1200 or a 1500.

I recently upgraded my AL-811H to an AL-811HD with 572B tubes. I am really enjoying it.

  • I running a pair of 4-1000-As but it time to down size ,its getting to heavy to move around. again thank you.

  • Nice video. I'll have one of those gnarly AL-1500s in the shack soon!

  • Thanks neat infromation

  • this is good stuff, i use 811 600watts, and loved it... will buy again ameritron...7'3 im glead to see this video...

  • So, where are they getting their transformers now that Peter Dahl is out of business?

Great shows, btw... love 'em! :)

  • I asked that question recently and was told they had other equally good sources for the transformers. It appears that no one is going to take over the Peter Dahl company and keep it in business.

  • Why doesn't MFJ buy Peter Dahl?

  • They didn't want to get into the transformer game. Amateur Radio was only a small part of what Peter Dahl built transformers for. Also, I think someone else eventually bought part of Peter Dahl's business.

  • Are yall really from MS?

    Me 2.

  • Jim and I are. Tommy is originally from Alabama, but he's an adopted Mississippian now.

  • excellent work guys..keep it up

  • Great looking amps. I think the 811H amp gives the most "bang for the buck". 800 watts should be plenty.

  • Once again, another great Amateur Logic episode George, I wish you and the boys and your families a safe and happy Christmas and a great New Years!

Also a merry Christmas to all Ham operators, have a good one, all !

    73's

    Justin
