This was great to see. It showed the house I was born in Croft View back in 1957. Also the old and new school, I remember the day we moved to the new school. In addition, the walk to your old house. We called it the Leeches estate where the houses had plaster board internal walls. Looking forward to part 2!
@A2MMUmet Yes, the Leeches estate - where I lived too. I did not know the internal walls were plaster board. Just as well I find out now I suppose!!! Part two is posted.
It is a pity the weather was so bad when I when there otherwise I would have done more!
@alanheath Part 2 was excellent as well. I was born in Croft View opposite the new school. I am looking at these video's from Afghanistan so a nice reminder of a very special place.
Back to the past. I like it. Recently I visited my town from my childhood and can't find the street so I asked somebody. 'What are you looking for?' He asked. 'Nothing, I just want to find my old house, I haven't been here since 20 years'.
