We saw Gullah man last week on our very first visit to the city. We bought the Heart of Savannah and gave it to my boyfriend's ailing grandmother-- it made her so happy. Gullah man is a truly beautiful person and Savannah is lucky to have him. Thank you, Gullah man!! Keep spreading your message!!
I saw him this weekend! I got a video of him and I'll post it sometime, and he made me a palm rose :D I think he is a great man if you ever have the chance to go to Savannah DO IT! Also he told me his gmail but I don't quite remember it. It was something like -godiseverything or something like that :P

I met him on Monday, just an hour after arriving in Savannah. He was wonderful. I was in Monterrey Square outside Mercer/Williams house waiting to go on a tour. He made me one of his lovely roses WITH HIS EYES CLOSED! He told me to look him up on youtube. I asked if I could take his picture and in it he is holding the rose he made for me. He is absolutely delightful. So glad I got to meet the ambassador to Savannah. What a pleasant experience.
We met the Gullah man this past weekend. He spotted out my soldier in his civilian cloths. We have a few of his roses now and I will cherish them forever. His sweet peaceful message is heart felt and remember able. Its will be a long time before I see my soldier again and the roses help me keep smiling.

I just got back from Savannah where I was there with a tour with Girl Scouts. He was awesome with them. What you see on this video is what he is in person. He actually weaves his roses with his eyes closed for you. Definitely need to hunt him up when in Savannah. He is in the River Street area and the park area down from the Girl Scout museum. Adds to the old world charm of Savannah!
