  • What size injectors do you have?

  • that is the game face. worring about his car lol

  • Hype

    <3

  • hand grenade..........small cars with big power never last, all that money for one moment of greatness

  • @khuffr1 hardly, its still runs today on this exact setup except a bigger turbo

  • have fun handling that much HP in a corner

  • @SpecR2k2

no you had a spec v that the dealer put nismo parts on and put a nismo s tune sticker on it. pull the vin number, there was no such thing a a nismo spec v. those were dealer applied parts. not done at the factory!

  • is that a stock block... i have an 03 Spec V and im tryin to make it as fast as possible without swappin a motor

  • @RyTyTech have u had any luck with ur spec v? Im wanting to get close to 500 if i can on my sepc v that woulo be wicked :)

  • yo that thing is fucking quickkk

  • I have a 2003 Spec v w/ turbo 9 Lbs of boost to make 329 BHP 359Lb ot torque. I get about 19/20 per mile on prem. gas but it runs good love my car. i will have up loads soon!

  • love that fucking bov tweet.

  • when i start workin ill buy one of these and do it up like this but ith out the bodykit

  • theres no such thng as a "nismo edition" spec v.

  • BS There sure in the hell is

  • no there really isnt. not to seem rude or anything. just wanted to let you or others know. i bought my specv new in 06. I am a very active member on several sentra forums and am active in the nissan community, attending local and national meets. if you still dont believe me, fine. just trying to be helpful.

  • I could have sworn there was a nismo edition spec v. I may be wrong. How does the spec do for daily driving?

  • its fine. i put 42k miles on mine daily driving, including 2 cross country road trips. never had anything break. only had to do brake pads, oil changes, and tires.

  • Its a bit pricey on gas... Premium and its mileage is bad. worse the a v6 mustang.

  • @lan00b

    stock sentra gets 23/28mpg

couldn't be too much worse with a turbo

  • no, there was never a Nissan issued "nismo edition" all of that stuff was done at the dealer and they called it a nismo edition. if you pull up your VIN you will find out that you have a very normal spec v and nothing more.

  • @GCampbell44 you cant just to to the lot and buy a nismo spec v. but you can add all nismo parts to claim a nismo lol

  • Comment removed

  • @comingfromthe925 Thats what I was saying all along. Theres no such option

  • hehehe you must not know anything about SE-R Spec V's of course there is a Nismo

    edition

  • @MirsoMR there is no "nismo edition" B15 Sentra Spec-V

  • @GCampbell44 Yes there is

  • @jsnevels2 No there is not. Start a thread on thespecvboard, b15u, specvforum, b15sentra, allsentra, etc... and everyone will agree. not trying to argue, just trying to give correct information.

  • @GCampbell44 Whatever it is a nismo sentra is the nismo R tune one you said there are no nismo sentra but i just proved one to you so your are giving false information

  • Does a Nissan Sentra Spec V NISMO edition have more power than a regular spec v? Or is it the same cuz i got a Nismo edition... Just haven't done a dyno run...... REPLY!! Thanks

  • Mybe a couple extra ponies from the cat-back,

  • what year did you get?

You should have more hp if you got headers, inatake, catback, etc.

  • its 05. Its not new. When i got it, it had non stocked headers. And it got nismo intake as well. Catbak exaust

  • You should post videos of it. I never really seen the difference of the Spec V Nismo compared to the regular Spec V.

You obviously should have more power. lol

  • I got 3 videos of me racing. Its night but its me :) Ill post some pics later

  • @irbinloks1

you just got a car that the dealer put a few nismo parts on and they called it a nismo edition.

  • Racing drive train (realy damn good for traction ) all suspension part is nismo . (Again is good for traction and handling )

Go buy this part and put them on ur cars cost u around 3k of part and 2k of garage .

  • I believe it comes with nismo spirngs, exhaust, and header. So, yes. They are a lil bit faster that a normal spec v

  • ha i found a complete turbo kit for 600$ on ebay and all kits on there go fro around that price

now i just have to install it

  • pleaseee.. do not put one of those ebay no name kits in your car.. PLEASSEE! those things are garbage.. just go out spend the extra little bit of money and get a nice turbonetics set up or something.. you will be much happier beleive me..

  • kay thx for the info

  • lol i liked the fire extinguisher there on the ground for good measure.

  • gotta love the torque curve of a turbo'ed motor

    exponential HP

  • TQ curve will come with displacement :p

  • haha

    true-

  • i think I might be the first to hip 800whp in a spec v..lol

  • game on!!! been waiting for somebody to take the record for several years. im ready to go higher!

  • with wat? not a qr

  • *only* 500 hp.

  • DAMN. Go race a Corvette.

  • More like.. go and roll race some street bikes.. ;-)

  • Anything you build Travis can roll race a damn street bike!

  • does this have stock internals???

ive got a QR25 in my X-trail (in australia) and that puts out 235hp naturally aspirated after my mods. this spec v is amazing!

  • no, its sr crank in a qr block, custom rods, pistons, cams.......

  • nissan sentra spec-v puts out 175 stock...what do you have in that engine that makes ithe hp so high the highest i've seen a spec v hp is 305 when turboed.......if thatsthe realhp you got there then damn

  • emill910 i think your talking about the nissan sentra SE cuz theyre supposed to be around 145hp stock, the nissan sentra SE-R spec-v, which is in this video, is supposed to be around 175hp stock i believe

  • yea 175 bhp i was saying 145 155 whp.

  • the stock spec v was rated at 175 CRANK HP. A stock spec v in reality makes around 150- 155 WHEEL hp.

  • Alot of fags here

  • yea i agree, thats badass superspec

  • Bullshit 215?? MY Fucking ass There is no N/A QR25 on this planet that put's out that kind of horsepower

  • um. yes there is. throw intake, header exhaust, bsr removal kit, proper tune, jwt cams, better clutch and flywheel, and other small misc n/a mods and you will hit the 215 mark. it has been done

  • ya wow your wrong my buddys all stock made AT LEAST 190 those cars are underrated like crazy or his is a factory freak because before his treadstone turbo kit he ran a 15.0 powershifting and ran right behind SRT's and I'm a neon guy...

  • shut the fuck up, these things dyno 145-155 stock.

  • I own 1 and they dont dyno at 190 stock. If it did, the dyno is complete junk and way out of calibration. And the dude with the bolt ons... You wish you has 215 whp. Was it the same dyno as the 190 stock?

  • lol i love how he thinks his car makes more to the wheels then nissan said it makes to the crank.

  • Comment removed

  • mine is 215hp half ass stock...

  • Synapse BOV is a good one...fights surge....

  • oh no :S

  • You might want to tell Travis to either size down that turbo, or get a larger BOV. That is FAR too much compressor surge.

Then again, this is a first run of a one-off engine, so I'm assuming it is getting fixed?

  • you cant get much bigger of a BOV, im running a greddy type r. the damn thing is huge!

  • Tial's got a 50mm blow off valve, as opposed to your 47mm Greddy Type R.

Wouldn't want anything to happen to that amazing investment!

  • On second thought, have you looked into those synchronic blow offs?

  • made is china...stay away!!! lol

  • Right.

  • There is no compressor surge Don..

  • hey rb26xs14 if you own a car with a qr25de motor in it u wud know that it is indeed a qr25de and that just happened dumb azz

  • rb26xs14 ur a fucking dumbass...thats a qr25de that was destroked to a 2.3...it has an sr20de crank...this engine is now know as the sqr23det...

  • crazy nissan guys making up crazy names

    sweet car

  • lmao

  • that cars maybe kina die in less in a year it seems.

  • i have a spec-v and i did bolt ons and got it durr

  • cleean....in pursuit of 500whp myself...

  • okay superspec02 frist of all your retarded. cuz an 02 spec-v has stock 175whp and with a few bolts ons u can reach 200 very easy. u can't just use crap parts. by using stillen or nismo parts it's very easy to reach mid 200 do some reading and u'll figure that out: under drive +2 balance shaft removal +2 cold air intake +8-+15 cams +5 header downpipe+20

and there is still a lot to bolt on you dumb azz

  • if you wanna qoute mag review specs or manufacturer specs then yes you could prob bust 200hp at the CRANK. few people have made 200+ WHEEL hp NA, the few that have arent running simple boltons.

next time you wanna call somebody retarded you might wanna actually know what you are talking about. ive been in the qr25 game since the motor came out.

  • actually the spec v has 140whp, you got to equate the parasitic loss from the drive train. Nissans usually have about a 30hp loss. My spec v has i/h/e/bsr/cams/p/s pulley/ ur crank pulley/ pnp intake manifold/ slight tune. Most people with the same set up have about 180 to 190 whp depending on the tune. You would need extentensive head work to reach over the 200whp mark.

  • you have no idea. that sentra is now throwing 800 hp. the thing is completly built, only thing stock on it is the block.

  • thats right! nice explanation

  • dude a spec v 03 has fucking 175hp look up the specs

  • 175 brake horse power...dyno results are based on wheel horse power \=

  • ya i got header,,intake..exahaust and all that shit i got dyno'd at 215..i got it done when my dad got his srt 4 dynod

  • Congratulations, you're the first NA B15 Spec V owner in the entire world to make that kind of front wheel horsepower

  • yea totallly your fucking retarded

  • theres no way you put 215 to the front wheels... thats ridiculous.. unless you have massive engine work

  • i didnt know na cars use fat front mount intercoolers... @dynomite1234

  • @dynomite1234 first NA (naturally aspired)? Its forced induction.

  • Comment removed

  • i got dyno'd so i know i got 215hp..and its had quit a bit of work...spec v's kick ass man i actually beat a cobalt ss supercharged check my vids i got proof man..if that helps any more

  • how much does it cost to tune it up to that level?

  • That looks like alot of fun to drive. I have an '02 Spec V and im hoping to get at least 230 WHP with full bolt-ons.

  • sorry to tell you but thats not gonna happen with boltons.

  • Meh, i wouldnt say 230 WHP... but hopefully over 200 WHP

with UR pulleys, MR Downpipe, I/H/E, Cams, Stillen QR Pro ECU, TB Spacer, BSR, Ported intake mani? Do you think thats possible? And have you seen the M3 vs Spec V video?

  • you might hit mid 185-190s

  • no fuck you, unless you joking

  • seriously, if your going to spend that kind of money, go to travis at forced induction racing(the guy who built this car) and get his VQ35 swap. run 260 all day and 300 with the built motor

  • wish I had that 9k redline...

  • I had a 300whp spec v with traction issues and I cant see how a 500whp is even fun or useable

  • 06 spec-v owner here.

Huge power, but USABLE power? Methinks way too much hp for front-wheel drive.

Time to start thinking All-wheel, or even rear wheel drive. If you want to actually drive it on the street.

  • its actually pretty streetable. i used it as my DD when this vid was made. i drove it atleast 5 days a week to and from work for a total of 26 miles per day. i did that for almost 6 months.

  • Great ride man!!! I have a red 06 Spec myself. I have a few questions though.. Unless I just haven't read into the pages beyond this, are you making all this power with the QR25DE motor that came with the Spec?? Or is it a swap out? The SR20DET or VQ35DE blocks.... Just curious because as you probably already know, when it comes to big HP gains, you always see it on a swapped out motor. I plan on boosting my "QR" with the Turbonetics turbo kit and just go from there.

  • what sentra forum are you on and then i can give you some links to the info?

  • Not too much power for a front wheel drive car... Just too much power for a car so small and light lol

  • Damn bro talk about traction problems lol, crazy specV though

  • Got any new info or vids of this car? Is it still around or is it dead now?

  • yes its still around, actually getting ready to bust the 700whp mark. its in texas rigth now getting the stereo done. look for some new vids in the next 2 months hopefully.

  • Damn, 700whp!!! Do you know the 1/4 mile times?

  • thhe new motor isnt in the car yet. when the car gets back from texas itll go in and play time will start.

  • hey travis i miss my car! the weather will be cooling off soon, it would be nice to drive this fall :)

  • dam dat spec-v iz sick!!!!

  • The turbo is a 67mm ball bearing unit.. it's 6mm larger than a GT35R, or SC61.. Why would our engine blow at "50K miles"? This is a purpose built race motor.. not a stock motor with parts sourced from Autozone.. lol.. It's funny to see how stupid the comments can get on this site.

  • ya i have a 03 spec it def looks the best.

  • The engine is currently being tweaked ever further.. Within the next month or so, it will be up and running again. With new valvetrain and turbo setup, we're looking for 9500rpm and roughly 650-700whp on C16 @ 25-30psi. Dual BB PT67GTQ and valvetrain on a diet make this possible.

  • sqr23de, basically a destroked qr25

  • 2006 spec0-v is the worst made spec from nissan the best is the 2005 but the best lookin one and which the performace is not so different from the new ones are the 2003

  • woooow dats so cool

  • 2005 Nissan Sentra SER Spec-V... I have one in NFS Underground 2

  • it's a 2002 you tool!

  • 2006 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V... I have one in real life :D

  • I have a Porsche Carrera GT in real life =P

  • what about the internals? connectings rods? sleeves?

  • Cunningham 4340 rods with thier proprietary rod bolts, 8.8:1 CP pistons with lateral gas ports for better ring seal at high RPM.. forced pin oilers and .140 wall tool steel pins, AEBS nodular iron T-sleeved block, ARP studs top and bottom, JWT custom cams (288* and 11.8mm lift), Custom springs (single spring with stock retainers), SR20DET crankshaft, with snout and thrust area cut to fit in the QR block, JWT BSR kit, Custom 8 bolt flywheel to mate up to 6spd trans (made by fidanza)

  • stock tranny?

  • Yes.. stock 6spd.. Pretty durable gearbox, though. It's the same 6spd that's used in the Maxima, and is good (reliably) up to around 450-500wtq. We're going to exceed that, so, I'm sure we'll tear up a trans every now and then..

  • i saw some guy on the Vboard that blew his third gear from too much hp

  • dyam...way to go superspec

  • HOLY SH!T

wow, that was just a video and that was loud for me.

I cant even begin to imagine how loud it was in the shop. I dig how he kept the stock rims w/ the Buddy Club 2 kit ( that is it right? )

Awesome car, I have an 03.

the 02-03's is still the best of them all.

The new ones are ugly to me. but that's just me.

  • The sentra is the best Tuner car ever!
