can someone please help me, i got my tipmann x7 phenom electro and installed the air-thru stock on it, but the tipmann offers 2 remote line kits, can someone please tell me which one i should get

@C0mputerTut0rialZ The air-thru stock should have a male quick disconnect fitting on the bottom of the stock. You should not need any other fittings to make the air-thru function.

@HustlePaintball the air-thru stock does not hold air, u need a tank and a remote line connected to it, the stock just makes it so u can keep theon ur back instead of it waying down your gun, so do i need the H-01 or the Connex remote line?

@C0mputerTut0rialZ You'll need the H-01. If you wanted to use the Connex, you'd have to do some modifications on the stock itself to attach the Connex Male Nipple, and possible dremel away some of the stock, so that the female portion of the Connex would fit without hitting the stock.

@HustlePaintball crap i ordered a connex, but i saw a website that said the connex was compatible with the x7 phenom and on the tipmann site, it says the H-01 is available on the A-5, 98 Custom, and Custom Pro. CRAAAAP my parents are gunna kill me for ordering the wrong part :(

@C0mputerTut0rialZ The connex is still compatible with the Phenom, it is just not compatible with the commando stock unless you do some modifications. I'm sure you can return it and get a regular QD remote coil.

@C0mputerTut0rialZ Slow down... Just remove the male end on the air-thru stock and replace it with the male end of the Connex. Easy fix.

@C0mputerTut0rialZ The male end of the Connex would be mounted to your stock, and you'd attach the female end of the Connex remote coil to it when you wanted to air up your gun.

@kensei1984 The A2 kit is discontinued but it also won't work with K416 shroud. If you're looking for a quad rail, check out the Pathogen 1913 Barrel; it doesn't attach to the body of the marker.

Same problem as jack. The stock fir the 98c won't work with the platinum edition. The braided hose has the wrong fitting on the end. Is there any way to get around this?

Is this stock combatible with a BTCombat like some other A5 and T98 parts?

@kr3648 Unfortunately no, the BTCombat uses the same syle as a Tippmann 98 Stock, also the shroud and air-thru will not work without heavy modification.

@tdavis995 The way that this kit is built I would not use it without the hand guard installed. The hand guard is not just a cover but keeps the line in place and secure.

@ThePaintballGamer You would use a remote coil quick disconnect on the nipple on the stock. It does not hold air, but it is air through, so instead of an ASA and braided hosing from the grip to the tombstone you have nice clean lines and it looks more like an actual firearm.

@CyberZombie88 The A2 foregrip is sold separately from the kit and does not reguire you to use it like it is with the kits, a regular tombstone adapter works fine with the foregrip.

@mugwampify This one in particular would require modification of the foregrip with a dremel tool, but you could most likely make it work.
