  • Well done for staying on and making him finish the job x

  • well flapping ur arms is not a good thing then croping him for that grrrr

  • Fair play for staying on!

  • nyawww mayb he fancied doin his own version of airs above ground to gain extra credit lol :) well sat

  • you stayed on very well :)

  • what a lovely horse, is he a highland?

  • @saintmerryweather45 he is a highland cross..x

  • Very well sat I defo couldn't do that

  • Comment removed

  • she sat the rear well, ok guys...people who dont have training often have to train themselves, and this is hard when you dont have someone there to pull you up on all the things your doing or not doing. at the end of the day the horses did what he was supposed to do, thats the main objective, is it not?

  • well sat !

  • tehhee temper temper!

  • I think she did awsome to keep on going like nothing was wrong even after her horse was playing up on her like that! champion mate!

  • Good rider and cute pony!

  • @ponylvrhorses and yes I know its a horse

  • The lady in the video is a saint for not having a come-apart in the middle of her rounds when her horse was being naughty. I personally would have given that horse a good whop on the ass for rearing.

  • Woah this is son extreme! Can I use it in a horse video?? (:

  • well of course the horse will rear if you pull the reins and kick

  • she handled that so well, no getting frustrated or scared or kick kick kick or whip whip whip, just waited until he stopped then carried on, my mum would of done a flying dismount at the first bunny hop bless her she can't deal with that haha! xx

  • It's very simple, the reason is that the horse has no impulse what so ever and his behind her at every jump. Not necessary the rider fault but actually the trainer's fault.

  • @engelangelica he is*

  • @engelangelica how does he have no impulsion when the horse is going up he diddnt like the filler she rode him forward he went up instead to escape she sat still and tall kept the leg on and the contact consistant and he eventually went forward over the jump

  • @ponigurlami Defence mechanism and misunderstanding. The rider his not at her place, it's totally normal for a horse not to jump in those conditions.

I don't want to be mean. but I am fed up of people saying that the horse his naughty when it is not the horse fault at all.

  • @engelangelica clearly not a misunderstanding her aids were clear he avoided it she stopped the horse going left or right and quietly insisted he moved forward he tried to escape by going upwards diddnt work went over the jump fantastic riding and should be seen more of i never said the horse was naughty what conditions id like to see your explination

  • @ponigurlami I watch it many time, and sure she does a good job with her hands and legs. However those are not the only aids she should be using. Her bust is way to forward, disturbing the balance of her horse. Fair play some horses will have jump in those conditions, he just doesn't and that doesn't make him naughty. It making him a fair horse.

And you said the horse was naughty in the beginning of this video, but this comment wasn't directed to you but to most of the other commenters.

  • @engelangelica PLEASE NOTE!!! this is not my video i only commented on it, for the bust being too far forward the leg was anchored in the correct position she was either in light seat (commenly used in jumping to relieve pressure on the horses back) or leaning forward to prevent the horse from falling backwards when he reared they are hardly horrible conditions nothing sshe did was cruel or could hurt the horse or stress him like i did not label him naughty

  • I love how she handled this. didn't freak out on this horse at all

  • She did a great job staying on. I've had a horse that has went all the way up before

  • thts such a beaut of a horse

  • hey look, your mom done great staying on that horse and getting it to go on about its jumping like it was suppose to. Don't listen to any of these negative comments, they are not the one's on the horse's back!! They may have their own horse's but each horse is different. Kudo's to your mom!!!!!

  • Realy well sat...it's soo easy to lose concentration when a horse is rearing like that, your mum sat to the rears well and wasn't pulling on the horses mouth...you can see she is pushing the horse on when the horse lands from rearing...She is a verry good rider..i don't know what the crit is about

  • can i use this i will give u credit??

  • ah im so scared. oh wait a 2 year old coud stay oon this, im still scrared though!

  • @MrStabby5395 I don't know any two year olds that could stay on a horse doing that, 10yr olds maybe but this would probably kill a 2 year old xD

  • Your Mum is Like "yeah get on with it, its not a big thing.. Just my horse rearing and spinning" Lol <33

  • thumbs up for staying on anda lovley seat :)

  • can i please use this for a rearing horse video?

    Maddy :) xx

  • Your mum has a nice seat and held on beautifully :-)

  • i think your mum rides very nicely in this video x well sat

  • my horse does that aswell. she is a welsh sec c and she is very stubbon.

  • if your legs as far back does the accommodation that is going to prance

  • being on a bucking or rearing horse is scary LOL the first thing you think is oh god here it comes D: and you get ready to try and fall properly while trying to clam the horse. then if you dont fall you end up thanking your horse instead of going mad on it :D haha

  • hes trying to get away from the pressure on his mouth

  • beautiful horse

  • My mum rides my horse and if he did that she'd never ride again !!

  • Your mom has good seat when the horse rears. i have my second jumping lesson today and see looks really good

  • I actually like it when the horse I ride rears, lol. It's kind of fun and a nice view. haha. You just got to know how to stay on when it does. (Going into 2 point and holding onto the mane & reins)

  • @xoDarcyTheMarexo Even though I shouldnt.... haha.

  • Good job staying on!

  • my horse used tp do the same... hes a 17.2hh warmblood cross, scary stuff at that height!

  • Thought you handled this really well! It really pisses me off when people beat the shit out of their horses in circumstances like this :|

  • wow i thought you were amazing,! just one thing, try not to pull on his mouth when he goes up, lean forward an pull his head to one side and down (:

  • i could never get my mum to do that!

  • He isnt scared he just wants to have some fun

  • how old is that horse. Plus that is a horse that is just not being perfect..........He is a horse!! Never will you find perfect in the definition of a horse unless it is 200!

    In response to

    balite1

No it is real horse real rider!

  • how old is that horse. Plus that is a horse that is just not being perfect..........He is a horse!! Never will you find perfect in the definition of a horse unless it is 200!

  • your flapping your arms like a chicken when you're just about to take off for a jump...

  • @HuntrJumpr67 i think your looking at a different video ther was nothing wrong with this.....

  • @HuntrJumpr67

try reading the comment above you... take that persons advice

  • @HuntrJumpr67 No shes not! id like to see u jump! everyone rides in there own way!

  • @11and15productions wanna see me jump? sure go onto my channel. nuff said, shut up

  • it's quite sad that people need to comment on these videos in a negative tone trying to prove that they know more. no horse is the same, no rider is the same. it's called individuality and everyone encounters problems along the way. i suggest you all get over it.

  • I actually thought that her riding was fantastic.. she sat so quietly to those rears! Well done ! x

  • what i was taught when a horse starts reading, is you hold onto its neck.... like you're giving it a big fat hug :)

  • Bad horse, Bad rider....

  • @balite1 and you can do better pfft

  • she should of used her whip :P but at least the horse did finish the course :)

  • @Delphine0077 the whip is to reniforce the leg aid and not as punishment

  • the riding style wasnt that bad and also the rider has a really good seat to be able to stay that secure in the saddle during a rear and even some of the best riders wouldnt be that secure so well done to the rider!!!

  • personaly i think she is a very good rider with alot of potentel

  • This video sucks

  • @Milona1995 no/one made you watch it!!!!!!!

  • i will compliment her on the way she sat the rear alot of people straight away tighten the reins rediculously. my horse romeo wouldnt even go 5 ft near a jump when i first got him now he is jumping well over a meter well done xx

    beautiful colour by the way

  • aww he's cute :)

  • Oh my, how she swings her leg at his belly :DDD

Good camera work :D You got some awesome clips :D Sometimes I'm just to scarred to record everything that looks dangerous :D. I'm like "oh my goooood *_*" and put the camera down :DD

  • my pony does this :)

  • CAN I use this clip please?

  • omg, that horse is so fat!

  • @xBonnieVictorie its overweight but i have seen fatter lol

  • @DeathKitty123456

    yeahh,

    that might be true.

  • @xBonnieVictorie no hes not horses look nasty when theyre skinny hunter horses are almost always rounder

  • das tut beim hingucken schon weh..

  • i agree with the pulling on the reins and digging heals...

  • Why did she tugg his reins I never do that to my horse because it hurts there mouth x :/ ...

  • @8silverboy the horse needs to be punished for its actions. so you'd just sit there and let that horse do that to you ?

wow, your a mighty fine horseperson

  • @8silverboy when my horse goes to rear the only way to stop him (or get him back down if he is already in the air) is to turn sharply in a tight circle or pull down on his mouth and give him a dig in the ribs or tap on his shoulder otherwise he keeps doing it lol different horses need riding differently and when your horse rears you do what you think is the safest thing to do at the time you don't think bout your position or whether you are pulling too hard you just try and stay safe :)

  • I wouldn't be surprised if he reared, the way you are digging your heels into him. You are supposed to kick with the inside of your foot, not stab them with your heel.

  • here ! i hav a horse ! they rear if there in pain or if there just havin fun ! now every1 leave her alone, nd ur mum is a good rider hun,xx

  • she did so well with him!

  • Gah, I can't ride horses that rear. I jump off and get extremely upset about it. (I had a horse flip over backwards on me and broke my back in seven places.)

  • Wenn er los steigt, dann muss sie ihn vorne Loslassen, und nicht nach unten ziehen ;)

    Ansonsten gut.

  • I rode a grey horse that reared like that ALOT - the best way to fix it was forward, forward, forward, and if he reared? circle-circle-circle-circle, chase your tail until it gets into your peabrain NO REARING!!! I totally feel your pain.

  • she sat well through that, ive been ot shoew and seen people who beat there horses to death just to stop them rearing, that rider has great patience, glad she didn't hop of though or the horse would just keep rearing and learnt to get out of work : )

  • Just means that there's a huge gap in respect.

  • omg this has to be the most annoying vid ever first the music and then the constant interuptions this jump was scary billy was very naughty i mean come on just let us watch the damn video!!!!!

  • @fillywithflavour if you had a problem with her video you should have logge off and shut your prissy ass up

  • How Cute, xxx

  • awesome!

  • The reason the horse is acting like that is because she yanking on the reins too much and pulling on the horses mouth. dont ever do that bcause the horse could rear like that and somtimes you could fall off. the rider isnt that good. she needs to loosen her reins or her horse isnt going to stop doing that.. get a trainer to help you.

  • @hunterxxjumperxx223x

    She said no crit!!!

and how do you know they dont have a trainer?? the horse could have been having an off day so if i was you i would keep your oppionis to yourself

  • @hunterxxjumperxx223x if horses rear maybe its nice not to always fall off and she has her reins fine length for incase the horse ducks its head, my horse does that and its really annoying. so think before you speak there might be a reason behind it

  • omg! i couldnt sit THAT well to a rear :O amazing!!!

  • @lovepiano4ever You only love them if they have their stink glands removed. You obviously don't love them. If you can't love it without it being altered, then you don't love it.

  • is that allens hill ?

  • @emzntallz yes... its allenshill

  • lol at least my horse has never dun that 2 me!

  • Piss taker lol

  • @lovepiano4ever and your a vet are you... i have had this horse for 6 years... i think i know him v well and know wen he is in pain or wen he is just being daft!!

  • I love how calm and collected she stayed. :)

  • @lovepiano4ever ... he wasnt in any pain... would he have jumped the next round clear if he was in pain..its just the way he is... a numpty...

  • Haha! GOOD JOB STAYING ON!!! I wouldve freaked & jumped off my horse!

  • his back and teeth r dun regularly.. he is just being a numpty.. entered the next class and got round with no problem... he is not in pain or anything.. just being a fool..

  • errm...have you even thought about getting your horses back or teeth checked?!

...its not the horse being naughty at all...its careless riders who blame the horse for trying to tell them something!! "/ He could of been in pain.

  • @horseynia

Er no, it's just horses that like to try and get away with not doing as they're told! Just because a horse isn't perfectly behaved all of the time doesn't mean they're in pain you fool. :P

  • thts not bad at all!!!

  • Your mom is a terrible rider. You do not pull on a horses mouth or hit it in the face like that! Poor horse

  • That was great riding, I think if my horse did that i would of fallen off.

  • your mum did very well, stayed calm and moved on. Coming 3rd was well deserved!

  • wow. good rider. GAWJ horese :)

  • one of the horses i rode once reared, it might have been tiny i dunno i was in shock, and i slipped off behind him, in front of everyone, at stand still.

  • she sat there well chilled lyk ok watever :L n didnt evn seem to get annoyed jst carried on lyk nothing hapnd :)

  • if that was me when the horse was rearing i would of been panicking she was just calm i wish my mum would ride with me :(

  • ... is tht at allens hill, thts near me! :)

  • @pipandwill yes its allenshill

  • Maybe he's sore. he doesn't look like a horse that would do it for the spite of it!

i saw a tripod in frame 0.44 maybe he got scared. he was OK after he got past the jumps near it!

  • @MyPonyMrDarcy yep i agree with u he is sore and its funny how us humans love to blame the horse!! Horses will do anything for us if they happy, y is her right leg swinging bak and wen she canterin to the jump her legs are swinging, and wen he rears shes pulling on the reins, worse thing to do wen horse rears that cud make them go rite over on top of u for u r like pullin them bak, anyway dont blame the horse look at the rider and yes she sits calm but look at legs and hands!!

  • @Theosauraus he is not sore... just being a numpty... i am not "pulling at" the reins i am pulling them down to lower his head... i think i know my horse better than you..and as for "swinging right leg" u cant even see my right leg wen cantering

  • wow i WANT THAT HORSEY HES SOOOOOOO PRETTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 ur mum handled that so well. 2 thumbs up well done!!

  • omg

    omg

you seem to be one of the only rider on you tube (rearing videos) who knows how to deal w/ rearing :D

btw to pepz who r wondering how she sits well its because she is a very good rider and doesn't pull on the rains when he rears

  • @xXEventer081Xx u think she is good at seat yes she is but u wana see this girl on a horse called lacey just type in lacey the horse really good vidz!!!! :)

  • @BestGirl99x the horse that i ride rears like this :P i sometimes don't do as well (not falling but like you know) and it helps me to see these videos :) helps me learn :D thx

  • @xXEventer081Xx Npz Btw Really good seat!! :D

  • simple that horse doesnt like jumping

  • @bridlelessgirl how would u know you dont even know him he actually does like jumping was just having a moment!!

  • @mariebak his body language..

  • @bridlelessgirl crap..

  • @mariebak ok then

  • @bridlelessgirl He could (I dont know, im just guessing) not have bean ridden for a few days for all you know, or could just be in a grumpy mood that day. Just because he decided to play up doesn't mean he doesn't like jumping...

  • Comment removed

  • Isn't it just being nappy?? Your Mom sits well for rears :) Is it a young horse?

  • @Kikiggs no... he is just a naughty horse when he wants to be..

  • that happened once when my horse saw a ladder! they were just baby rears tho! i would've fallen from some of those :P

  • what a cheeky lil pixie! just goes to show, even if ur an ace rider, if the horse doesn' want to play, it won't!

  • LOL yr moms a good rider!!!

  • she rode thru it really well! my mom rides too its fun

  • @Alin1736 is she hell fat besides that pony is a weight carrier an if she was fat the horse would not be able to take her round a small course of jumps

  • @diamondcrazy1 That woman is NOT fat. Jesus.

  • @joosiej85 i no she aint fat

  • @Alin1736 cant you see the horse is a weight carrier.

  • @Alin1736 that is so rude :O seriously, i really doubt that the horse would be rearing like that if he couldnt carry her and she is not fat either so i dont see why your complaining.

  • @Alin1736 Wow, there are so many better ways to say that. You have no right to be so rude towards someone, or tell them what to do. She is perfectly in her own right to be show jumping and the horse doesnt have a problem in taking her weight. Spoilt brats like you give a bad name to horse sports.

  • @Alin1736 First of all I bet the horse she's riding on is about 3 times her size. Secondly not all people who jump horse are stick figures. I happen to be more on the hefty side and I do cross-country and stadium jumping. So saying that only people who are the size of sticks and bean polls are the only people who can jump with out hurting an animal is BS and a lot of the people who think like you tend to be careless riders because they think that weight nothing means they can push their horses

  • @TheGypsyStarr much harder than they should and this is coming from a person who trains horses and has see what can be done when people act like you.

  • well done mum! she handle that really well :) my mum rides, too. she tought me

  • I luv it when horses rear and you dont pull back when they are back on in middle of rearing

  • I luv it when horses rear and you dont pull back when they are back on there back legs...

  • very well ridden, looks a tricky horse, is he a highland? xx

  • Comment removed

  • @Ebonyeatallthepies he is a highland cross

  • wow, your mom is a fabulous rider:)x

  • I wish mum could still ride...She had a massive accident...she was riding this TB gelding along the road. I know, sounds stupid but he was the quietest horse ever! But he didn't like rain. Suddenly, this random lightning storm started...and he went spastic. Rearing and bucking...Her foot got caught in the stirrup and she was dragged along the side of the road. When she managed to get her foot out, she was somehow in the middle of the main road. At peak hour...she nearly got run over!

  • A rider knows her/his horse, some horses set off if you dont hold them back mine does so i hold her back but maybe not so tight. I think this perosn is a fine rider. you never know until later on or if your clever at the time what was wrong if it isnt the reigns.

  • Your mom did awsome! her horse is sooo cute to:)))

  • wow she sat good! i know how horrible and scary rearing can be! been there done that! it never looks that bad when watching but when your sat to it, its horrible!!

  • Thought so :) i some time go jumping ther :) do you no sophie smith ?

  • is that at allens hill ?

  • @danniehhs yes this is at allenshill

  • ahah what a little buigger gawjuss horsde tho .. well done to your mum x

  • to all you 'horse exerts' it's clear what the problem is in this video... NOTHING! she's just hacing a bad day so go shovel horse crap!
