  • is that house???

  • @ameyaganchha yep :P many years earlier

  • I always feel good when I see a P. G. Wodehouse. It reminds me of cucumber sandwiches and cold lemon and barley, on a hot summers day in England. AHHH

Rock on Jeeves. A big double Quack

  • Jeeves singing falsetto, followed by, "Excuse me, ladies, the house is on fire!" And then I died of laughter. xD

Seriously, Fry and Laurie are pure magic, but you've got to hand it to P.G. Wodehouse. If it weren't for the comedic genius of his stories, we wouldn't have the sheer brilliance that is Jeeves and Wooster.

  • i thought it sounded like "Oscar, Oscar!"

  • 1:50 hahaha this is the best edit

  • "excuse me ladies!"

  • hahahaha!

  • arse stab arse stab .... what?

  • @KrimHyu I think it's "Ask Dad"

  • Why have I never seen this show before?

  • The wonderful PG Woodehouse.

  • Good evening,

could I ask you for text of this song, could you write me it please. Because I don´t understand some words- my english isn´t so good and it´s hard listening for me :)).

    Thanks a lot.

  • @SIRBEWOO As best I can tell, the words go like this:

    Ask Dad! Ask Dad!

    That's all they ever say

    Ask Dad! Ask Dad!

    They take your breath away

    Never seems to flurry them

    Old Pop's a perfect backup

    Doesn't seem to worry them

That Daddy's due a crack up

  • How can 5 people NOT like this amazing-ness?

  • LOL JEEVES!

    Bad singer

  • I love this song. I'm always humming it. XD

The beginning that Bertie plays on the piano sounds a little like the Mario Bros theme. :P

    Thanks for uploading!

  • @HaleyPfifer Dude, that is exactly what I was thinking. I legitimately thought he was gonna parody the Mario Bros, nevermind it's set in the '30s.. xD

  • it was like someone coming from the future to inform hugh laurie that "HOUSE IS ON FIRE!"

    i'll grab my coat...

  • In J&W Laurie is much more handsome while singing than while talking.:) But Fry is amazing and handsome all the time.

  • After all, Bertrum is not a Jelly!

  • @TheNobody96 "That is a matter of opinion." XD

  • Hugh is always fantastic, but somehow Stephen steals the show in this one!

  • Hugh laurie needs to go back to comedy

  • "No sir, that intelligence had passed me by" superb!!!

  • facepalm

  • haha, it looks like they've both got their eyebrows done.

    They're still attractive though.

  • This is really funny. But I think if you'd put a little more at the end, so we could see their reation, I would've died.

  • haha brilliant!x

  • Wooster being silly... I think he's always silly! ^_^ I love this part!!!!!!! <3

  • Absolutely brilliant!

  • I find your choice of title somewhat unfortunate - you could well say that everything dear old Bertie does is somewhat silly. :P

  • aw stephen XD

  • I love this so much ^^

  • George being George Bevan, of Wodehouse's A Damsel in Distress?

    Oh Wodehouse, I love you.

  • LMFAO

I love this show soooooooooooo much!!

    Thank God for P.G.Woodhouse

  • The books are brilliant! Read them!!

  • Jeeves and Wooster!!! The BEST best best Britcom duo. Love their stuff.

  • OMG...Jeeves in a falsetto voice...LMAO

  • See, John?? I told you that Hugh Laurie was a good pianist and singer--not to mention a silly ditzy character! Very unlike Dr Gregory House!! What an actor!!!

  • He is just incredible! I watched House before I saw all his earlier stuff, so I was just as amazed, although I knew he was incredibly talented.

  • lol 0.14

  • LOL "the house is on FIRE !!", how random !

  • Anyone for tennis?

  • chetansingh2006

WTF! BNP? Seriously get a life.

  • Indeed, chetansingh2006 should get a life. I think his mind needs some "fixing" (geddit, ha ha). Anyway, jokes aside, I love it all.

  • totally random ending.

  • lmao the guy that says it, is practising his line for the play

  • "I'm not quite sure what the little ff's are for..."

"Possibly they are meant to indicate fortissimo, sir."

    "Mmm, possibly Jeeves...possibly...."

Oh Bertie, you silly ass. We love you.

  • Hey, all the third season videos have evaporated from Youtube! Can anyone tell me where I can find Jeeves and Wooster Series 3 on Youtube?

  • Hello! Since Lauriefan109's account was suspended, wolfxbloed has taken the task upon him to upload the series. You'll surely found series 3 on his channel:)

  • i believe that wooster ended up playing the part of "excuse me ladies, the house is on fire"

  • And ended up yelling "FIRE!!!" and causing quite a disturbance.

  • Bwahaha! That's hilarious. Well, we wouldn't want Jeeves to strain the laryngeal region.

  • i love stephen in this one (well, i'd love him anywhere), but i must say, i keep replying it mainly because of the really fine vocal work by hugh laurie. i know that with his modesty he wouldn't be comfortable with it, but it's a shame he doesn't use his voice so often.

  • @masterble i'd be very careful saying that you'd love Stephen Fry anywhere

  • @masterble He fronts a band comprised of other celebrities. He uses his voice quite often.

  • blackadder was hilarious.

  • XDDD

    Hahaha, this is hilarious

  • is this a real song???

  • Just adore this film!!!! Super song!!!

  • Oh Stephen ;D I clap for his wonderful singing!

"Excuse me ladies, the house is on fire!"

  • PMFLL omg this is hilarious XD

    stephen singing XD

    excuse me ladies pahahaha

  • Awesome show

Took time for me to adjust to the accent though

  • accent? ACCENT! what the bloody hell you playing at? :)

  • Haha i guess it's just a matter of perception

  • yeah, even in your own country you still have an accent xD

  • LMAO!

"excuse me ladies!" HAHHAHAHAHAHA! That was great.

  • Stephen Fry es un genio... ¿Qué capítulo es?

Stephen Fry is a genius... What chapter is this?

  • I love Bertie's surprised look at Jeeve's incredible falsetto! Must admit, I was surprised too. o.o Didn't think Stephen could hit that note! :D

  • JEEVES&WOOSTER Forever !!!!!!

  • He was so handsome even then! So hard to believe every young woman in Britain was not in love with him then, as he sometimes claims they were not!

  • Its called modesty.

  • Are you talking about Fry or Laurie?

  • Laurie. Sorry not clear.

  • The BNP?? Are you bloody mad, man?

Oh, let me know if you'd like a brush-up on the old grammar, and the rules governing pluralisation and the use of the indefinite article "a". The two don't go well together.

  • hahah gotta love stephen fry ^^

  • "excuse me ladies, the house is on fire!"

  • OMG HOUSE AS A YOUNG PERSON LOL

  • house? is that any good? spose it doesnt have fry in, who is really the star ;)

  • House is excellent! Watch it - Hugh Laurie is a fantastic actor.

  • House is good, but I really think this stuff is much more clever and amusing :D

  • Both are clever and amusing; now he is showing his dramatic skills. He loves the USA.

  • I keep hearing reports of how he is in a depression and would do anything to go back home to his wife and kids.

  • u rly like dr house cuz he sows DRAMA there ? lmao

  • @Sarahendipity that's cos House wasn't invented by Wodehouse ;)

  • @Sarahendipity You are trying to compare apples to oranges.

  • HEEHEE!!! XD

  • Excuse me, ladies! The house is on fire! Brilliant *****

  • ah. sir fry singing in a lady's voice. what a fitting role!

(he's also.. the best man ever in drag!)

    :P

  • omfg i laughed so long when i heard that

  • This is brilliant, jeeves is brilliant.

  • I love how he can't read the sheet music correctly. fortissimo and all that. XD

  • "Excuse me ladies, the house is on fire!"

    That line made my morning!

  • 1.40

    hahahahahahahahahahaha

this is great, thanks so much

  • jeeves sounds hilarious singing that high pitched!

  • mm i love jeeves and wooster :D house is amazing! but this is far far better, and hugh laurie usues a proper english accent instead fo the american one he has to fake D: most people dont even know he's english >.>

  • House had to fake a British accent in one episode. I thought it was funny, 'cause it would just be speaking normally for Hugh.

  • Sounds brilliant, ha! What episode was that?

  • Pilot episode, I think.

  • House is on fire. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm sorry

  • hehe :D

  • I think they do this song in the extras on House Season 3. (Band From TV) Holly Crap this audio thing's freaking me out.

  • NO wait, he sings Minnie the Moocher for the "Band From TV" thingy aswell as in jeeves and wooster

  • I love these guys

  • God, I love Jeeves & Wooster! Laurie has a pretty nice singing voice as well, at least when he's not trying to sound like a young girl... ;)

  • Can anyone tell me what episode this song was taken from?

  • omg this is soo funny XD

  • Jeeves and Wooster is the highlight of all the cosiness hidden in the TV-world. This scene is great, and it get more hilarious every time I watch it.

  • How is this song called please? It´s really good!

  • hahaha jeeves singing falsetto oh lordeh lol

  • o gosh! wooster is the man!

  • I love Laurie's facial expression when reacting to Jeeves' suggestion that ff could possibly indicate fortissimo! It's sort of an epiphany/bewilderment...

  • Excuse me ladies, but the house is on fire!

  • Hold me

  • When i saw this show as a kid id made me want to be a butler :D When i grew i had second thoughts though

  • Me to, now I want to employ one.

  • This is just hilarious :)

  • They're the perfect comedian-couple...

  • rofl!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ask dad

  • Excuse me, ladies, the house is on fire!

    rofl! I love this show!

  • apparently they crossdress too o_O lmao?

  • yeah in one episode they both pretend to be women

jeeves dresses up as i THINK an author or something

then wooster dresses up as a maid haha

    it was so funny

i need to watch that again now...

  • its 'ask dad' :)

  • ...if i am to sound like a chorus of young ladys, sir.

  • I have to say, Hugh laurie is such an extremely vosatile actor. Props to him!

  • That's hilarious!!

  • such a great show. these two great actors are so perfect for these roles.

  • Hahaha! Poor Jeeves!

  • Excuse me while I swoon!

  • jeeves is the best Fry & Laurie 4ever

  • Jeeves really has a hard job with Wooster...

  • Lol! This is totally one of my favourite bits! Stephen Fry is absolutely hilarious in this clip!

Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry are without a doubt two of the best people to come from England ever, I've never seen two more talented people in my life!

  • excuse me ladies the house is on fire. haha.

  • ahh! i do love this show! horrible falsetto by jeeves, though. Ha ha!

    really great series overall.

  • Fry can't sing or dance but he's a genius and when he trys to dance its hilarious

  • amen to that... even though im an atheist... woot?

  • amen to that... even though im an atheist... woot?

  • Have you seen A Bit of Fry and Laurie? Now everytime Jeeves mixes a cocktail, I wish he would start dancing spastically. Oh well.

  • Yes! I love Fry's drink-mixing dances!

  • Amazingly funny! That made my day!

  • lol =D "Possibly stands for Fortisimo, sir."

    ~L~

  • It was on ITV, not BBC.

Both Stephen and Hugh are wonderful, gorgeous etc. I think Stephen looks so handsome in J&W.

  • I love this show.."excuse me ladies, the house is on fire" haha

  • this is really funny because stephen fry has admitted in interviews that he can't sing, though perhaps he can and he's simply being overcritical, i haven't heard his singing; hugh laurie, on the other hand, is a fantastic singer.

  • The closest I've ever seen to Stephen singing is in the Saturday Live Masterclass sketch and even that description of "singing" is rather loose. And you're right about Hugh, he's a musical wonder. :)

  • "excuse me ladies the house is on fire!" lol

  • Fry and Laurie FTW. At life. At everything.

    Both dashing geniuses.

  • which season was this from?

  • season 3, episode 2, when they go to america!

  • this is my absolute favorite scene in the whole series...with a close second when bertie tries to teach gussie to play and sing in order to impersonate him...hahaha

  • What makes it even better is that Hugh Laurie really does play the piano. Authenticity!

  • "Excuse me, ladies..." Bwa ha ha ha ha!!!!

  • LOOOOOOOOL

  • Oh my goodness, I can't believe they sang like women! It gets me every time... And the guy at the end just tops it off!!! I love this show!!!

  • Ha!!!! That's hilarious. I love this show.

  • ^ they're both amazing! and they make a great on-screen team. gosh poor Jeeves, having to sing in falsetto! haha the guys in my choir hate when they have to do that.

  • wow i love Stephen :) i hear everyone talking about Hugh on most of their sketches but like i said my favourite is always Mr Fry!

  • "possibly, jeeves, possibly" lol i love that line. Great Sketch.

  • I could never watch this originally, but have changed my mind over the years. It's a very witty show with F & L giving a tip top performance.

  • hahaha yay that was great

  • XD I could watch JW over and over =P

  • I love Jeeves and Wooster! Post more, pleeeaaaase! :D

  • Hugh is ADORABLE!

  • Excuse me ladies, the house is on fire! Wow! That's great!

  • LOL! love the end line too.
