@rondar2 Well mine is the 1.8 producing 140 hp and when I spin my wheels like that while launching, the digital speedometer shoots up like that and takes a bit to adjust to the proper speed. Not to mention that the 1.6 civic doesn't do 140 in 18 seconds without some modification....
@cassidyypalmer those numbers are identical to factory values. your 1.8 should do it at around 16-17 seconds if its manual. if its auto the acceleration would be the same with this as this is manual
When he was done he reached about 83 MPH not 134mph!!! I have the same civic and he put the electric speedometer to read kph, not MPH - BIG DIFFERENCE in speed!!!
@Solumic its in pretty good shape tbh. unless you do this all the time it doesnt break down. in fact honda is so confident in this car that they give a 6 year warranty for it. only problem i had so far is the brakes and that is a problem all civic owners have here. in 50k km's i got my disc's changed 3 times allready.
i think if u control your wheel spin during launch you will save time. that spin costs you some valuable seconds. thats why most ferrari's have a launch control button, so the wheels wouldn't spin that much.
hello that such hear something you got involved in your civic engine or is this normal question that the cripple runs very well and I have an equal and not as bastard off my Honda Civic's 1.8-liter with 140 hp is like a friend would Tullo know if you got involved something
lol even if your car did it in 10 s , its pretty fast , lol one question , when you launch , y did the speedometer display 52kph , a civic cant do this
coz the wheels are spinning at that speed. the speedo measures the speed from the wheels. during wheel spins speedos dont show the actual speeds of cars.

cassidyypalmer 8 months ago
@cassidyypalmer why so? it is perfectly normal for a 125hp car to reach 140(87mph) in 18 seconds.
