I've had relatively decent success using the analog stick....since my wheel is bottom-of the line...but it was pretty difficult

try and touch the apex of the corner, and on the way out, tap the outside ripple strip. That is a good drift.

what kind of tires are used? and what is the limited slip also installed?

N1 tires( economy), and no LSD installed, cars are pure stock. Except the black rx7 that has a custom LSD.

jus so pplz dont get confused it didnt look like a trueno, it looked more like the Levin (the weaker version)

The Levin is NOT a weaker version of the Trueno. They were both manufactured with the same specifications except the body chassis. However, the first (Itsuki's) Levin featured in Initial D was build in 1985 with a SOHC while later models had DOHC engines. Consequently, DOHC engines are more performant than their counterpart.

I have forza motorsport for xbox. It's pretty cool.

Cause you could put bodykits and stuff like that at your car. I usually drift in forza motorsport.

I drift with my 86. And I even put the tofu sign on the side of my 86.

Seriously, that's nuts, I could never do that with my Logitech DFP, the wheel's too small can't turn it fast enough.

I've never had a multiplayer drift session, simply because in arcade mode you can't really your individual settings on your car, and you can't choose different tires for front and rear.. which sucks. Is it like that in a LAN race?..

same in LAN, but actually it is pretty easy to drift in arcade mode, set 0 to all driving aids + N1(economy) tires front and back, now u just required a little bit of drifting techniques to initiate it
