  • mumble humming at its best...atleast their are pretty colorful things to keep my attention

  • This needs to be in 720p

  • I'm from Germany. What means the colors red and blue? Thanks

  • @Gladiator19951 like a bruise or contusion. A bruise is caused by breaking small capillaries or veins and the result is the mixture of colors such as red and blue. Bruises usually involve pain, and trauma to a certain area of the body, i think the metaphor is that jose has sustained trauma to the heart and he is in pain and the metaphorical result are the colors red and blue.

  • Great cover, cool commercial! The Knife's Deep Cuts album is one of the best of the decade, simply breathtaking.

  • ...iscepao sam se kao papir...i ovo je mnogo dobro...

  • happy valentine's day

  • I remember my big bro showning this to me when it came out

I was obsessed with bouncy balls so I loved it!

  • Can you a magine just seeing all of the boucy balls like a million of them bounce down your street

  • You who don´t like this, you suck...

  • 44 people don´t like this song..

44 people are 44 to much..

  • @MrGillies1234 thats what i was thinking.. irony's a bitch ain't it.

  • Wouldnt it be mad if the antich2st and RickRay9 turned out to be gay for each other....id like that.

  • @Zipplepoo

And what would that make of you, liking us being gay? A faghag?

  • i dont know whether i prefer this of the refined version, i like the rawness of this but obv the other one sounds better :) but theyr both awesome and so is the knife version

  • maybe the best song writer/singer ever...love that song!:-)

Oh...heard this song first time in S.C.R.U.B.B.S....best series ever!

  • @Sealilywhale you see my balls bounce away in the sunset huh? lol

  • He was great live in Oxford

  • der ist so schönnnnnnn, also das lied

  • im not one to get emotional about songs... but this and the original by the knife give me this feeling... it's weird, and nice.

  • perfect guitar, perfect song..

  • If you ever get a chance to see a surf film Called The Drifter starring Rob Machado in Indonesia this song and the surfer/villagers complement each other brilliantly. Very amazing song

  • Reminds me that all I have experienced with you was all to good to be true, & I see your balls bounce away in the sunset knowing it's ok if you've changed into one of another heartbeat, for you gave me your very best, & that's something I will forever believe in, though it's gone with the strum...

  • i love how people are like "yeah the knife wrote it, no josé gonzalez wrote it!" Now i know that the knife wrote it, but who cares? Both The knize AND José are from Sweden ;D

  • @Roosterboii The knife wrote the song but Jose put them to his guitar skills sounds fair!

  • Love Sony, love Japan !!

  • @mavin174 funny cause this commercial has nothing to do with Japan, besides its funding.

  • YAY WE DID IT (SANG THE SONG)

  • i do not want to see the guy singing...iwant to see the bouncy balls lol

  • @melodyrain7

I agree :) it was kind of nice watching them heh.

  • It reminds me of somebody...

  • lush

  • It pulls on the heart because it's done in minor cords. I've fallen in love over and over just listening to it. Jose cute too!

  • cool Idea for a coversong but the voice is Way better when Karin Dreijer Andersson sings it :-) (would be cool if the knife itself makes an acoustic version of that song)

  • Good luck finding her Antichrist :)

  • great cover

but theres no taking away they all sold out !!!!

    SONY WON

  • Awsome

  • get out ! you are barred !

  • A worthy rendition of a beautiful song. Lovely job... soothing voice.

  • Jose Gonzalez!

  • When I listen to this song... it takes me somewhere... somewhere where I feel so good and warm... After 30sec I stop dreaming.. Think of how World is just great... And begin to cry... ( Im not EMO, It just gives me so good memories and such a warm feeling..)

  • forget the labels, kid. there's nothing wrong with being "emotional". it's human.

  • totally agree makes you enjoy life even more and the beauty around

  • Amazing rendition!

  • awesome.

  • when did ignorant become a noun... oh right it hasnt.. what are you talking about?

  • @elm64 it is actually used as an adjective, to describe the person who could feel offended.

  • who sings the original?

  • @Chronosagaaddict

    the knife

  • There also is a place on earth for morons like you. Get some education, tolerance and politeness.

  • Lol, I was looking for this song, and i remembered that there were balls falling down a street. So I typed in google : "balls falling down from street commercial" first in english (no real result) then later in my own language. And guess what.. the first link was IT XD.

  • Truly Stunning.

  • wow, the music video is so awesome,,,,I LOVE RUBBER BOUNCE BALLS!!!!

  • I love Jose!

  • The knife > Jose

  • Meh, for me, it fully depends on the mood...

  • Would everyone PLEASE get over it. Yes The Knife's wrote the song, it's a great song, and it was covered by Jose Gonzalez in another unique form. Both versions of the song are great, but they're different. And depending on your preference of music, is going to alter your opinion on which song you like best. Just keep in mind, no matter what, the song itself, is amazing.-peace<3

  • Both are amazing.. it's an amazing song. People just like to be crappy.. Youtube sucks because of it. Ah, well.. what ya gonna do?

  • @Xylia19 Well done sir. (thumbs up)

  • @drunkenmuzz hahaha, actually, "ma'am".lol but thank you:)

  • @Xylia19 UNIQUE??? I think he just mumble-hummed into the mic

  • @smokedmonkeys yes, "unique". As in "Being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else". Just like opera is unique, screamo, classical, baroque etc. This is Jose's unique version of the song. So what, it sounds like humming to you, you see nothing of it. But to others, the way he plays and sings the song adds more emotion. And singing the way he does is A LOT harder than you think. But like I said before depending on your preference of music, is going to alter your opinion on what you like.

  • anybody who likes this song needs to give some credit to the knife for writing it.

but this version is pretty good.

  • The Knife, yo.

  • Can someone explain to me what the meaning of this song is?

  • y do you need the meaning?

    fuck meaning

    just listen to the music

  • listen to his cd.

  • I did, it suuucked

  • so does elvis, judy collins, mary lou lord, every pop star.... do i have to go on? get over it.

  • and they're all hacks

  • how the hell...

  • bouncing ball avalanche.. amazing!

  • This is such a Beautiful moving peice of art.I almost feel like crying.

  • The dog at 1:58 was probably put off balls forever. I bet when his owner shows him a bouncy ball he just goes "Don't even go there, you don't know what is was like man, don't be an enabler"

  • Love it, TOTALLY!

  • I thought that I heard this song too much. That it would not touch me anymore like it did. And now, after a while, I've searched for it again. And again, it fills me with this wonderful feeling, some sort of emotion, which I can't describe or define. Like I've fallen in love with someone I don't know yet, someone I still have to find. But she's out there.

  • same, couldnt agree more!

  • WOW super irony there the antichrist talking about love and beauty.........gr8 song btw

  • @TheAntiChr1st fucking poof

  • @blunt8787 :)

  • @TheAntiChr1st Really touching but unfortunately with a name like Antichrist i can only hope it's not the kind of love you find on the news a few days after "the incident"

  • @TheAntiChr1st awesome name, wonderful sentiment for the song, i totally agree :)

  • @TheAntiChr1st ....here i am! :) :P

  • @TheAntiChr1st yeah, i have that feeling too, like im in love whit someone who's not here like she's invisible

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAntiChr1st It's called an erection :)

  • @mabishkanabob I fell on the floor in a burst of laughter.

  • @TheAntiChr1st the real anti Christ wouldnt say that haha

  • @TheAntiChr1st Greatly said... everytime I hear the same sweet tones I get the exact same feeling... it's truly amazing. It's slightly giving me this sort of thought... I start wondering why I'm living, right now. And then I hear this song... it all fades back into dark. Amazing... this song is amazing.

  • @TheAntiChr1st

    Power to ya man!!

  • @TheAntiChr1st as a statement, that was highly philosophical, and truly lovely.

  • Good...i like it.

  • Never heard of "The Knife", heard this version though.

    You don't like Hendrix then?

  • this is jose gonzalez, who is much bigger than the knife.

  • yea covering a song written by the knife you douche!

  • Incorrect.

The Knife are a bigger name, just that Gonzalez had a bit of promotion through the Sony advert. But don't be mistaken, the knife would be higher on the billing if both acts played a show.

  • he didn't make his career on cover songs...all he did was just covered one song on the entire album, the album was a hit anyways.

  • It was just a coincidence that this happened to be the song they chose for the commercial. José Gonzaled was already fairly famous.

  • agreed

  • i agree

  • The rocket boy remix of this song is pure genius.

But I really like this version, too.

    -2 million thumbs up!

  • this song and this video is equal to

the knife + "repent, harlequin," said the tick tock man.

  • karin dreijer andersson made him famous ... somehow.

    ...

  • mmm, harvey danger.

  • this is pure magic.

  • just so amazing and soothing

  • I wish you could download off youtube

  • das original von the knife ist das einzig ware

  • its simply perfect

  • uhm, maybe you are just boring person- and not the video. Think about.

  • the knifes version is more intense and you just cant beat Karin's voice so yeah its better but this is a good cover

  • true, I just wish youtube would let the video sit for more than two seconds.

  • honestly, i love the knife's original. its fucking amazing. but this song is a completely different genre, and jose gonzales does a GREAT job making that transition. kudos to him, this is very nice to listen to.

  • lol perry...

  • I love this song!!

  • try my version..

  • i hope they got a 60 pound fixed penalty for littering

    that is disgraceful 8-)

    gooood song

  • This song is just a normal song, whereas knive's version thrills me. I swear it gives me a kick. Not only "Heartbeats" but all their songs. I love "You take my breath away" - especially the moment she/he sings: "I heard you for the first time on a radio..." - the way she/he changes his/her voice is just amazing.

More - I like "Bird", "Rock Classic", "Pass this on", and many more.

  • Totally agree the original of this is much better. A few of the new Fever Ray songs are good as well. You probably already know one of the two girls from The Knife has gone solo - if you haven't heard it check out 'Fever Ray' - 'when i grow up', its absolutely amazing...

  • there r no two girls. its karen and her brother who are 'the knife'

but yes she is doing a great job as 'fever ray'

    =]

  • i know - oops...

  • Oh shut it =[

  • This song is sikkkkk

Stop saying 'knifes version is better' :p

  • To be honest Knifes version is pretty appalling this is great

  • The original is the best - as with most songs...

  • simply amazing!

  • i find this version so much more plesant tham the knife's version,

here there is melody and music

the knife's rendishion is just noise and is no ware near as gd as the cover wich can't often be sed.

    Kly.W

  • I know what you mean, i prefer this version. in my eyes (and ears) he completely rewrote the song, made it his own. the two versions stand along completely

  • Their both great. The knifes version has got that strange sexy vibe going for it.

This version has more a kinda sad reflective feeling.

  • Comment removed

  • i would choose this over the knifes version anyday

  • the knife version sucks donkey turds ya heard

  • the knife version is better

  • This song gives me goosebumps!! Beautiful :)

    He's a reason I'm proud as a Swede :)

  • i love this song

  • His guitar playing is good enough, but his voice makes me fall asleep. I would take the knife version over this one any day. Sorry Jose.

  • original song from "the knife" is much better.

  • gooood stuff

i like this one as well as the original good work

  • 5/5, awesome. Sounds just like the real one.

  • Definitely one of them.

  • The original version by The Knife is better

  • much much better

  • haha it is not, I listened to the original from when i was younger, and when i heard this...i was overawed!!!

  • version of Heartbeats from The Knife is originall and the Jose's versions is cover? I thought it is vice versa:)
