I've been meaning to get more in touch with my indian ancestry ( Right now it looks like I'm Apache but I suspect there could be some Navajo as well). I feel like the best way to get to know a culture is through music so I can't wait to get a flute of my own and play it like a badass.
i worked on the reservation with trees for mother earth if you are not famialr check it out ! I have never felt so peacful not as good as carlos but it is good take care and keep smileing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
as a honest dine woman i understand the meaning of sharing, in this may all that come across this video see that DINE and not NAVAJO, have shared there heart with you. charlotte charley
I visited Monument Valley this past summer for the first time, and will always remember the warmth and hospitality I received. Thank you very much. The response could easily have been, "Oh, no. Another damn biker!" I was very impressed. Thanks again.
its good to see that one of our own is on youtube playing our instrument. i haven't found many of our own true people on here ... let alone on the net .. they are making money off our instuments calling themselves native americans
HAHAHA i dont mean to be mean but im navajo and it seems to me that white people arent varry.....well..there i mean i could be singing about how my horse ook a crap in the river and the torists could be all like "wow how exotice" haha sorry i dont want to be mean but still.
@MolonLabe84 Oh ho ho, I'm sorry you feel that way Squanto but in reality i care enough about it to become a medicine man, or at least try. No one around to learn from anymore.
@zellyten so sorory for that...but their spirit will teach u if u listen wi. yr heart. they are all around us to taeach us. become the medicine man u want to,,,,they are all around u & within u to teach it to u...bless u...become what u want, the universe provides.
@zellyten I understand your point completely. XD And you know, honestly, that's probably all they want, and it would probably amuse them. It might actually even sound good. (shrug.) But yes, as a discerning listener myself I might expect more than horses taking care of their business. XD
beautiful. thats my next destination. SQuentinQuale has some good videos on here. hes a good friend of mine. i think we should go there and give some respect and give back some energy with love and respect for our mother and Monument Valley would be a beautiful place to do so. thanks for this video. this is inspiration

You could sing about horses taking a crap and someone who doesn't speak your language wouldn't know the difference, that's true. But you would know.
