  • Ive had my current z1300 for 25 years & I can tell you this bloke has got no idea what he is talking about

  • Just like the other dude said,...You are a blimy bitch,....

  • You need to check Your facts dumb-ass,..You are dumber than the bike is,..

  • @Eagleeyeondc Piss off.

  • @lr882027 I had an H2, Two 79 GS1000s', A 84 GS1150ES, plus others..Of course it is overweight & handles like crap & has marginal brakes.....The Americans and English at the time made horrible chunks of cast Iron monstrosities....passing as motorcycles. it was a statement by Kawasaki.."we can do a six too" These old ones really need lots of work to bring them close to todays standards, perhaps a modern frame?....perhaps it is the riding position or windblast that tires you out on this one.

  • If I wanted a non-stop bitchfest....I'd go looking for one. NO appreciation whatsoever for the bike, nor the engineering that went into it.......Typical English type review.....bitch bitch bitch!

  • @RichardEllisxyz I take it you don't ride one of these often - I did 4,000 miles this summer. Handling is crap, brakes are crap, drinks gas (~30 mpg), eats tires & is tiring to ride. If ranked amongst all motorcyles, it would be near the bottom. I love this bike, it makes a great noise, it's torquey but what do you want to hear - it's the best ever and Kawa should keep making it? -along with the H2? The CBX is a better bike all over. Tell me, what can you do on a Z13 you can't do on a GL1100???

  • @RichardEllisxyz And just what, exactly, is the engineering that went into it? it's a 2 valve per cylinder carburated 6 cylinder small car engine in a beefed up Z1000 chassis. Kawasaki must have had their biggest brains working on that one.

  • We got a 1300 hanging as a wallpaper on our livingroom wall on a console.

It actually weighs about 320-330kg or ~650pounds.

We recently had to paint the livingroom, so we put the bike down and I had a sit on it.

Actually it felt as "light" as a XJR 1300 or equal.

Didn't feel like sitting and holding a tank, though i never rode one.

My dad felt it is the best handling bike he ever rode, since he rode mainly Z900s or shovels at that time.

Nevertheless, I love the bike and would never give it away

  • G'day mate - loved the vid, especially the pic of me ole mucker Splog's bike - then the penny dropped and I realised who was behind the camera ! By the way, the footrest hanger is cast ally, not steel so Tankz13 did have a slight point but wot the hell eh .... I enjoyed listening to ya pal - how's it going on in good ole Colorado ? See if ya can guess who this is? I used to tear around on a black 350LC when you knew me - part of the Tigers mob, remember a good ride out to Abersoch. All the best

  • Your stoppin' 750lbs of pointlessness

    hitlers troops motorbike

pmsl nice vids well made ,

  • I have a 1985 with the fuel injection ,with tuoring package , I love it super smooth quiet but a bit heavy, but a super ride.

  • I love the bike and own one myself, just sold one over the summer too.

You got it for the sound it makes too, and it turns heads.

Just put a 6 into 1 DG on mine, But I think it sounded better with the original mufflers?

It had a over heating issue, till I changed out the thermostat. and the vapor lock was hell, I had to rap the fuel line & filter with heat shield. love the video,

    Thanks mysuzuki1100gs

  • I find its better to know what you are speaking about before you tell the story

  • @Tankz13

    Kiss my swingers
