i like the song, but its hit or miss on how you want to interpret it. this video that you made isn't what i thought of when i listened to it...
it was more of a commentary on the social norm for me, and judging those who judge others with an elitist view, not so much about fighting discrimination and sending a message but reasserting yourself and being comfortable in your own skin.

The song is amazing, true, but it's not completely clung to just one type of people. It's not against simply "MySpace Hipsters" OR "NYC hipsters," it's to hipsters in general. Anyone who has held their nose up to someone not dressed like them.
And I believe it definitely takes a shot at "MySpace Scene Kids" simply for the line:
"Go Analog baby... 'you're so post-modern.'"
