Been to both NYC and Toronto.

Tornoto isa beautiful and liveable city but their vibrancy is nothing compared to New York. I know that Toronto tries to be a New York with their Dundas Square and diversity. They have Eaton center, Spandina and Yonge Street that is nice but the what they don't have is New York's 24 hour culture.

Most of the stores at Eaton and Yonge Street are closed before 11:00 pm.

Toronto is a very different city from either NYC or Chicago, what would be the point in trying to make Toronto like any other city? Toronto is a great city, but all great cities are unique. Toronto is a very safe city too, I hear about the murder rates in cities like Chicago and NYC and can't believe how massively higher they're in those cities. I don't know why Toronto has such a low crime rate but it does and that helps to make it very livable and friendly, in comparison to some other cities.

@rich1299yt unfortunately the only crime that's lower is homicide (and that's a good thing) but theft, rape and other violent crimes and drug problems are still too damn high...but yeah T.O is very safe...in retrospect so is chicago and for its size NYC is ranked one of the safest cities in america...what can i say? As a Torontonian living in NYC....they are BOTH great cities. Toronto is a lot safer....but definately lacks the vibrant energy of NYC. The are both grid-like cities so are easy to get around....NYC's subway system is far superior but Toronto is a lot cleaner. The rats in NYC seem to be bigger as well (lol--2nd night of me living here, I saw 3 rats on the street in lower Manhatten close to the WTC--but haven't seen any on the street since)

You should put in pictures of Riverdale Zoo, and the Hiking area there with the man-made River, it's best in Sept. when the Arts and Craft Festival is there, with green algae on top of the water, the ducks look like they are almost stuck in the water quaking.....and a couple blocks east of the Zoo, with the park with a row of colored houses.
