@cesarrivas123 No i very much doubt this is Jason playing, many people have asked the same question, and up to now, no one knows for sure, my best guess is it's Steve Vai, mainly by the length of his fingers, the sheer technical ability and the Floral Jem he uses, but still hard to prove who is playing, all i do know, it's still the best playing,best song and best cover on u-tube.

This is awesome, fantastic... other synonyms for good. At the beginning, the shredding in the intro, to me anyway, didnt exactly fit. But I listen to thrash metal and hair metal mainly. He was and is one of the greatest rock guitar players that God has ever devised. It's awesome that he is still writing and his music is still being played in his brilliant style.

Steve Vai helped Jason on the album, so using a Floral jem, with phrasing like this, it can be no one other than Vai, its too clean and who else can play like this.

There are great guitarists out there who are not famous who in fact have great phrasing and can play very clean... And altitudes is on the album perpetual burn where Jason plays and writes everything with exception of eleven blue eypgtians and temple of the absurd which Marty Friedman cowrote and help played...

The song cant be played by an everday guitarist... It can be played by an extremely good guitarist who in fact is an everday guitarist..
