defense of our country has nothing to do with some political party. I have many people in my family who have fought and/or died in the wars going back to the revolutionary war. what party they belonged to, if any, varied. soldiers so not think that way. they fight for our country.

It wasn't the Republicans that were spitting on Vietnam veterans when they returned home. Republicans also don't ban ROTC programs and military recruitment centers. And they don't gut defense spending forcing our soldiers to fight with out of date equipment. The Republican party will always be the party that welcomes the military community.
