there's a video on youtube from a vh1 show i think classic albums maybe.they talk about the making of nevermind the bollocks they say how they layered like 5 or 6 guitar tracks to make the huge guitar sound.i don't think nevermind the bollocks was their best recording tough,some of the songs on rock n roll swindle sound much more kickass.The ones with johnny rotten of course,his voice sounds real distorted and the music much heavier

@MunisAwesome The Beatles were great but nothing blows you away than listening to nmtb,well it did for me when i first heard the whole album back in 1982,should of been earlier.I still remember the impact it had on me,remembering it now.Virtually every track was just excellent,not one track was bad.Before seeing Rotten ever,listening to a wailing voice that was saying these out of the ordinary things and the guitar sound from Steve Jones that was just brilliant,nothing touches it imo.

If you pick up a base or electric guitar you could pretty quickly play a lot of their songs.. one of the first things I learned on the electric guitar was their songs and I picked it up really quickly johnny said so himself he was not a singer.. but I still agree with you.. the thing is they made it work and in my opinion a group that can't play or sing that makes it to the top that is pretty amazing
