RoTF Deluxe Sideways Review

I got my Sideways recently from a TJ Maxx. The shoulders are definitely loose considering he's only been out of the box for maybe a day or two. I really don't like the feet, you need the back wheels for general posing but it looks bad and makes him appear to have backwards jointed legs not to mention the feet not meshing in with the wheels very well. I like to just pose him on his tiny feet alone. You can manage it if you have one foot slightly ahead while the others behind him. It works kinda.

Yeah, I got him in a two pack with Wheelie. I also got the Dead End repaint, I was kinda disappointed though because of the missing paint apps and not being bulky enough like on the game or movie.

the transformation reminds me of barricades and so does the headsculpt but none the less they are 2 different characters. Barricades the Pretend Badass and Sideways here is the guy that always dies first in a fight.

he actually can stand on his little feetums without the wheel heels. I do it with my Dead End. Also the back pack can tab in another way. theres a square peg behind his arm and theres a square slot on the window plastic. it gives a space but reveals less backpack. try it sometime

There's no one calling him "Barricade" in the movie. Yes, it's the same CGI model that we saw for Barricade in the first movie, but they've been shown to reuse models for more than one character. Like Grindor in having Blackout's CGI model in RotF.

In the Unicron cartoon trilogy, Sideways was a triple agent. He worked for Unicron but made the Autobots and Decepticons think he was working for them. When he entered into his alt mode, which was a motorcycle, a hologram of someone riding him was part of his alt mode.

I'm not sure if you know this already, but he has one more mech alive gimmick, in his arms. when you bend his arm at the elbow, there is an opening in his "bicep" that reveals a gear that moves as you bend the arm. Not trying to be a smart ass but just pointing that out.

The wheel is so they kind of skate like optimus and barricade did in the first movie. The Sideswipe movie art has him skating on feet ade out of the wheels.
