  • The Roots I repeat The Roots have not been the same since My brotha in Islam left the group and thats Real Rap!

  • @blackstar514 i agree! 1987 - 1999 was my favorite period for the roots. Back when it was Thought, Malik, Leonard Hubbard, Kamal and/or Scott Storch, Questlove, Rahzel, Scratch, with occasional appearances by Dice Raw and M.A.R.S

  • "Do You Want More" & "Illidelph Half Life" wuz Klassikz cuz

MALIK B wuz on dem Jawnz. Rootz aint da same wit out da Bul M-ILLITANT.

Dey produKshin iz weak. BLACK THOUGHT iz still ill, he shuld go solo 2.

PHILLY style, you nah-mean, nigga wut?

  • @KTHREE31 Are you high? The Roots production (or produKshin, in case you couldn't understand) is tight with or wothout Malik. I agree their earlier stuff was awesome, especially Things fall apart, Illadelph halflife, and Organix, but, to say their production is weak is stupid. They have changed, as most bands do, but, they are as good as ever, just different. And to suggest Black Thought going solo? If you can't see why he stays, you have no undertanding of music, hip-hop, or writing.

  • @StuCarlieSmith Wutever nigga, stop H-8-N, fucK yu!

  • DOPE!!

  • MALIK B !!
