  • That recipe is good for pregnant mama since there's milk for calcium. Pregnant mama need lots of calcium. And also the other ingredients' got their own nutrients to provide. But as for the bouillon stock, might be good to make your own chicken stock instead of store bought products.

  • Easier to swallow for pregnant mothers?? Clearly she's not very good at swallowing if she's pregnant...

  • Runny, you're such a nice guy, i love watching your videos, you are a very humble man :)

  • I love runny because he's so funny. Lmao. And he shares with us good recipes. :3

  • すげー甘いそう!茸は私の大好物です~~

    English Muffinですよ。.

  • Haha, love how you make something 'easy to swallow' for the pregnant lady. She's not ill you know ;) The rice & vegetables looks like a great breakfast recipe for winter though, I am going to make it one of these days :)

  • @flutteringazure well he said it was a fragrant-ish dish, and sometimes when chicks are pregnant they get upset stomachs from eating food that is too rich/ seasoned. like when my mom was pregnant, all she could eat for like 3 months was bland foods. she tried eating some rotisserie chicken(butter garlic flavour) and she got super nauseated just from the smell of it. so he probably made it without extra seasonings and such so she could eat it. i think thats what he was referring to probably :)

  • I looooooooooooooooove teriyaki!! Those mushrooms looks like ghost mushrooms XD

  • Okay is it just me or did the whole "two earner couple" thing come off as a weird translation. I mean, what couples have MORE that two earner? Most families have a mom and a dad that work. So I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean. I can understand a one earner couple having money problems maybe or saying a LOW earning couple. But what's the significance of saying two earner couple? How many people earn in Japanese homes?

  • @AetheraSora I think it means they are both working so they don't stay at home and don't have much time to cook...

  • @Smilzetta Doh, that makes perfect sense thanks! My mind went right to finances.

  • Why does it seem that the carrots are so much bigger in Japan ._.

  • Yum! Just tried it, was super healthy and my boys loved it too. Thank you runny-san!

  • YEAH BOOOI! Runny runny again.

Gotta get my Jap cooking skills sharp again.

This looks like my monday dinner.

  • god that kid at the start was so annoying, made me wanna say shut the fuck up.

  • You're the best Runny san!! Arigatou ne ! n_n

  • when you say crumble you mean to separate. Crumble in english means to break into smaller pieces..with the mushrooms i think u meant cut off the roots not the stems lol if you cut the stems you would only have mushroom caps.

  • You just gotta looooooooooove "beztabols"!! >_< Please don't mind my teasing, Runny-san, You are the best!

& btw, Your pan rocks! Everything sticks to mine as soon as i put it in, I guess I suck at choosing pans, or... my cooking skills are just terrible. lol ^^"

  • YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY

  • AWH that little boy is SO cute!!

  • Is it me or do people in japan have a thing for mayo

  • @Elle7491

everyone has a thing for mayo, lol.

  • @310BPM Blurgh I can't stand the stuff lol

  • @Elle7491 they love it they also have mayo ice cream and shakes. theres a whole resturaunt dedicated to mayonaise :D. i find that gross tho lol

  • @Elle7491 Well, they use mayo in the same manner as Americans use ketchup :D

  • Comment removed

  • @Elle7491 Japanese mayo tastes different than American Mayo

  • @Elle7491 Mayo ftw doesn't every one like mayo....? btw I'm japanese

  • 楽しいです。チャンネル登録しました(^_^)更新楽しみにしてます。催促ではないですよ。

  • Enoki and shimeji mushrooms are so cute :3 I wish we had more types of mushrooms at the supermarket... Both recipes look tasty, I hope to make them someday!

Oh, and you can just say "break (the mushrooms) up" or "break apart". Crumble is when you break something up into tiny pieces, like you would for bread crumbs or crumbly cheese (like feta) n_n

  • @zero1zerozero11zero

CUTE? euuugghh, they're so creepy looking. D:

  • You may make your video at your pace.

    -

    自分のペースでビデオを作ればいいでしょう。

  • with the mushrooms you would say "pull appart." bread turns to crumbs XP

  • runny-san i can't use wine or sake because i am muslim and they are unavailable in my country...

could you tell me an alternative drinks? please..

  • (ate burger) "...Hm!...........fuzu" LOL

  • how come the sauce did not burn when you put it in the pan? low heat

  • Hey what does two earner mean?

  • @KSH2006 both adults work

  • @vainbadkitty

I had a feeling that they both worked, but I had to make sure. Thanks.

  • It's true! You are so adorable when you eat! Great videos, I love you Runny! :D :D.

  • u meant cut off the roots?

  • I'm eating the burger on the right....there is no way I'm eating one with smaller peice!!!

  • i laughed so hard when you said you were cutting the onions into slices, but it didn't look it. And it's crumble! Crumble the mushrooms into pieces. I love your cooking videos. (Alongside cookingwithdog. Heh.)

  • @maliha cooking wine, white wine, or omit it?? Of course some kinda wine would make it taste better :)

  • Can I use something instead of the sake runny-san?

  • @Maliha Rice Vinegar.

  • You could say, "separate the mushrooms"

  • Wow, you're so kind ! I was really touched by your message at the end... I can't wait for the next video !!

  • Mushroom's stipe not stem :)

you're a good cook btw, i've learned alot from you, keep it up

  • good stuff, I wish I had a magical fridge that was always stocked with the stuff I need, so I would never have to go and buy more groceries.

    Wats cooking~

    What's runnyrunny999~

  • Zousui reminds me of sausage gravy....you just need to make some biscuits now! mmmm biscuits and zousui gravy mmmmm.

  • What you want to say instead of "Break them into crumbles," is "Crumble them." :)

  • Runny, sometimes when I am doing homework or something, I play your videos as background music because I really enjoy listening to your voice ^-^

I love you Runny, you are awesome!

  • Why doesn't YouTube have a NOM-button? TT_____TT

  • Runny, I think the noise of sizzling is louder than your speaking!

  • Runny, what type of sake do you use? When I go to the store, there are so many different types! Can you give me some suggestions?

  • I love how surprised you looked when you tried some of the mushroom cream soup you made. ^_^

  • i just noticed that the music your used at the beginning of the cooking at the very end....

is the same music DAISO would use when their playing the advertising track in the stall lol. <D

    *new achievement unlocked*

  • Oh man.. that burger looks delicious, but you forgot to put some cheese and onions on it! ;o

  • Nah runny it's not easy to swallow for her. It's easy to digest so it's easy for the baby to take in the nutrition

  • runny that soup looks so good and so does the burger

  • yumehiiiii

  • Urotoraman TARO!!!

  • lets get married! xD

  • Yay! A new video from runny :)))

  • nom nom nom!

  • @aoiahiru

    Thank you for the info!

  • "crumb" = くーあーmーぶ (remember, the "u" is silent and say the word really fast).

Also, if you just simply say "Break the shimeji mushrooms into sections", this also understandable :).

Great video, keep up the good work.

  • @kuru2k9 i think u mean the B is silent lol

  • DUDE UR KNIFE IS AMAZING. WHAT KNIFE IS THAT?! i have ot exert 300 times my strength just to cut a carrot!

  • @SartaySimon

It's only stainless-steel knife cost me 2500 yen which is about 25 dollars lol It's getting dull already.

  • @runnyrunny999 LOL i guess id better by a new one... actually now that i think about it, i cant even call it a knife... maybe im actually using a spoon that looks like a knife to cut my carrots. -_-

anyway runny-san, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE UR COOKING VIDEOS. u dont know how good it is to come home to a new video. XD It would be heaps better if u were actually in my house though. hahhaha!

  • @SartaySimon dont buy a 5 dollar knife :P

  • @deafomega im pretty sure it was more than 5 dollars. =( I got conned.

  • @SartaySimon I'm just teasin lol

but you can look for a weighted blade if you have trouble pushing through things. my mom has one, and it really helps when making cuts through firm veggies :)

  • missed you Runny welcome back!! btw very interesting recipe gotta try it ;-)

  • the music in the back is hilarious. love it. lol

  • what can be my substitute for buillion stock??

  • Both background music songs sound similar to music from video games. I just can't place which one... but I'm thinking Yoshi's Island for one of them. :|

    Thanks runny-san!

  • @darkendivide definitely yoshi's island!

  • what a ridiculous background sound!

  • Please do some "meals in a ricecooker". My gf and I cook veggies, rice, ptatoes and even chicken and steak in a ricecooker together with herbs, etc to make easy and healthy food when we feel lazy!

  • i subcribe because i love japanese food

  • Thank you for the video the food looked great. Thumbs up.

  • Both of these looked amazing, especially the first one! Thank you so much! Also, just so you know, you probably meant to use "crumble" as a verb, like "crumbling up the mushroom" ;) I'm not sure if that's what we would say, but I can't think of a different way to say it ^^;

  • @Kyuubi888Naruto is it coz of the alcohol??

  • Youre amazing!!!!!! :)

  • I will be heading out to college next year, and runny will save me from eating crappy university food all the time; if I have a kitchen of course. :/

  • Um, what exactly does poking the chicken do? Also, Sake is a Japanese alcoholic beverage right? Is there an alternative? Keep up the good work!

  • @Kyubi888Naruto he is using sake but sake for cooking, i think. it's actually cooking rice wine. u know how people use wine in sauces? well when u cook it, the heat dissolves the alcohol. i think sake is used to tenderize meat, in this case the chicken. but trust me i know that the end dish contains no alcohol.

  • @blahmustbebordom

Thanks, so if I can't get sake (or cooking rice wine), I can just use any cooking wine then?

  • Excellent food as always.

Keep doing what you do, it`s awesome and i love it.

  • love this channel

  • You should block the 5 dislikes..........

  • The word you were looking for isn't "crumb" or "crumble." You divided the mushrooms into individual mushrooms rather than them being in a bunch.

  • @sffilk separate?

  • @Alfaris Yes. Or, in Japanese, 別

  • runnnnnnnnnny i really realllllllllly like your pan with the detachable handle, where can i get it? what is it called? i can't find it anywhere :(

  • can we use macaroni instead of cooked rice in the zousui?

  • crum crum crumble *screw it*

  • runny's cuts are so straight it looks like hes transparent

  • Looks delicious! Thanks again!

  • たろうさんってすっごい優しい目をしてますね(#^.^#)

And just like other's say , keep practicing on english! But IMO your grammar is the cutest wwwwwwwwwwwww ♥ ♥

    Ganba! (´▽`)/

  • I wish my knife was as awesome as yours.

  • what does he mean by two earner couple? Does he mean for a working couple?

  • Hey Runny-san, great video as always. I was wondering, how did it take to fully cook the chicken? Was it fully cooked when you added the teriyaki sauce?

  • you didnt eat!!! :(

  • This looks awesome, Runny! I love the variety of mushrooms you guys have over there! We only have two or three kinds here. Maybe someday I can try them! Anyway, can't wait to try my own version of this recipe. Great job!

    cheers

  • Too awesome, Runny! :D

  • Easy to swallow? Do you mean maybe it's easy on the stomach?

  • Hey Runny, do you have a girlfriend? :) haha

  • lol top comment. shat brix

  • オォォおいしそうと思いますよね。食べたいです!

  • I've looked all over in my area to find Sake but to no avail!!! What could I use instead of Sake? Love your recipes!!! <3

  • @Marienkaafer sake is a whine made of rise with 15 to 20%. maybe you find something similar. so a clear high percentage whine, hope that helps ^^.

  • @tollpatsch1986 Thank you very much!! =D that does help!!!!

  • @Marienkaafer I am glad it does. Good luck in the kitchen :)

  • @Marienkaafer How about.. just regular ole' kikoman teriyaki sauce?

  • Nice job!

  • LOL...why are the buns upside down?

  • @cenon1 not upside down. just a different kind of bun :U

  • "...and crumble the mushroom"

  • I envy you cutting skills :<
