That recipe is good for pregnant mama since there's milk for calcium. Pregnant mama need lots of calcium. And also the other ingredients' got their own nutrients to provide. But as for the bouillon stock, might be good to make your own chicken stock instead of store bought products.
Haha, love how you make something 'easy to swallow' for the pregnant lady. She's not ill you know ;) The rice & vegetables looks like a great breakfast recipe for winter though, I am going to make it one of these days :)
@flutteringazure well he said it was a fragrant-ish dish, and sometimes when chicks are pregnant they get upset stomachs from eating food that is too rich/ seasoned. like when my mom was pregnant, all she could eat for like 3 months was bland foods. she tried eating some rotisserie chicken(butter garlic flavour) and she got super nauseated just from the smell of it. so he probably made it without extra seasonings and such so she could eat it. i think thats what he was referring to probably :)
Okay is it just me or did the whole "two earner couple" thing come off as a weird translation. I mean, what couples have MORE that two earner? Most families have a mom and a dad that work. So I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean. I can understand a one earner couple having money problems maybe or saying a LOW earning couple. But what's the significance of saying two earner couple? How many people earn in Japanese homes?
when you say crumble you mean to separate. Crumble in english means to break into smaller pieces..with the mushrooms i think u meant cut off the roots not the stems lol if you cut the stems you would only have mushroom caps.
You just gotta looooooooooove "beztabols"!! >_< Please don't mind my teasing, Runny-san, You are the best!
& btw, Your pan rocks! Everything sticks to mine as soon as i put it in, I guess I suck at choosing pans, or... my cooking skills are just terrible. lol ^^"
Enoki and shimeji mushrooms are so cute :3 I wish we had more types of mushrooms at the supermarket... Both recipes look tasty, I hope to make them someday!
Oh, and you can just say "break (the mushrooms) up" or "break apart". Crumble is when you break something up into tiny pieces, like you would for bread crumbs or crumbly cheese (like feta) n_n
i laughed so hard when you said you were cutting the onions into slices, but it didn't look it. And it's crumble! Crumble the mushrooms into pieces. I love your cooking videos. (Alongside cookingwithdog. Heh.)

but you can look for a weighted blade if you have trouble pushing through things. my mom has one, and it really helps when making cuts through firm veggies :)
Both background music songs sound similar to music from video games. I just can't place which one... but I'm thinking Yoshi's Island for one of them. :|
Please do some "meals in a ricecooker". My gf and I cook veggies, rice, ptatoes and even chicken and steak in a ricecooker together with herbs, etc to make easy and healthy food when we feel lazy!
Both of these looked amazing, especially the first one! Thank you so much! Also, just so you know, you probably meant to use "crumble" as a verb, like "crumbling up the mushroom" ;) I'm not sure if that's what we would say, but I can't think of a different way to say it ^^;
@Kyubi888Naruto he is using sake but sake for cooking, i think. it's actually cooking rice wine. u know how people use wine in sauces? well when u cook it, the heat dissolves the alcohol. i think sake is used to tenderize meat, in this case the chicken. but trust me i know that the end dish contains no alcohol.
@runnyrunny999 There's one thing I hate about your vids. Seeing you eat those delicious food while I have to sit here hungry and watch it! :) keep the vids up man!!!
Hey Runny-san, great video as always. I was wondering, how did it take to fully cook the chicken? Was it fully cooked when you added the teriyaki sauce?
