The Bruins are a horribly run team. They don't want to pay anyone. But ahhh....I think the jealousy ran out after 1979. Since then you guys have been just another team.

It's been almost 30 years since the Canadians have been the Canadians. I think a lot of the feelings about Montreal have to do with the locals acting as if Montreal is Paris.

no, not really. we have a city with many cultures. No one can stay on top forever. We take pride in our 24 cups. after 1979, 1986 and 1993. two more than the Bruins in that time.

From all the Mass license plates I see here everyday, it seems like you need to escape from beantown into a real city. No one can stay on top forever. Look at the Islanders, I rest my case. Once again, your initial point was that people from Boston are jealous of Montreal. That is the point that I'm arguing. I'm not arguing about whether teams can stay on top or not. And I'm glad you owned up to the fact that you have titty bars and junkies in your city. And those people who rioted are fans. They are Montreal Canadian fans and they rioted after they beat an 8th seed in the first round. If your city is so great, why did your baseball team leave?
