  • one of my favorites bands

these guys known how to rock

  • This is gold, compared to today's music

  • the blonde in this video looks a little like Traci Lords.don't you agree?

  • that first blonde looks crazy.

  • revirb 4ever luv it 5150

  • That blonde in the black car needs to drive by my place with her bankbook!!!!

  • Last night I listened to this song for the first time in ages. Never am I as happy as when I am listening to hard rock.

  • it was the 80's... all of the videos were cheezie

  • 80's metal. Great music. Super cheezie videos though.

  • When I was 15 or 16 I liked Autograph, and the metal heads at my high school beat me up for admitting it. I think maybe they were right to do it...

  • @RepublibotThreePoint Maybe you were wrong for not kicking their asses back. Glam metal kicks ass.

  • seattle killed hair metal....grunge killed itself....hair metal still on victory tours!!!

  • steve lynch.

  • where is ed anyway?

  • nice!!..thanks !!

  • @djmark7 Even though this came out in 85, and hair metal died in 91? Knowledge is a good thing to have before making assumptions. Record companies and Seattle killed hair metal, and I should know, I'm from Seattle.

  • @PerfectStranger776 record compainies in seattle didn't kill hair metal, first off, most hair bands came from LA, and second the record compaines didn't kill hair metal, the artists did, record companies aren't stupid, all their doing is trying to make as much money as possible, the main reason hair metal died is because there were so many hair bands and the people at the time wanted something different. Don't get me wrong, im not saying that record companies are 100% innocent.

  • These guys single handedly killed 80's rockl with this song

  • Al Vocalista ya tenia el Pelo re Largo

  • I was really underage back then.

  • Is this the same chick that was in the TNT video?

  • @tpocain u mean You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC Video ?

  • I agree with all of the comments against the music of today but sadly comments on youtube can't change that, But i have a plan! We all need to form 80's rock bands and shoot the music videos with old cameras then teach your kids about the greatness that is classic rock and convince them to form their own bands! that will teach those bastards of today!

  • @ScarredToons I was actually planning on doing that myself!

  • 3:32 Old suicide door Lincoln Continental. Early 60's ish if I'm right. Super cool ride.

  • blonds with leather, and on black cars...now thats what i call an orgasam!

  • Did they get an order from "Playboy" or what? Cheasy all the way .-)

  • AUTOGRAPH AREN'T A ONE-HIT WONDER.

  • @H057IL3 I totally agree!!! They have many wonderful songs and they have awesome hair

  • This is the life we lived, the memories we created, we cruised in muscle cars that sounded as good as the music comming out of the 6x9s. We had style. God how time has flown.

  • Nitroass...to go along with what you said...a band doesn't have to create a new sound to be good at what they do. They were a good band in their genre, and it's great to pump your fist/shake your head to their music!

  • very very very good!!!

  • Most of the "Hair Bands" were worth a listen. Loud,Edgy, and Fun! The 80's Rocked!!

  • Cool stuff to listen too while cruising in my '89 Firebird Formula.

  • Now Accepting Donations to Build a Time Machine Back to the 80's.

  • hate my blonde step mom, hated her small black car....

    LOVE THIS SONG!

  • Great song...slowest Vette ever!

  • Steve Isham was such a beautiful, talented man--so sad that he's gone...;(

  • @tpocain im not gay but boy seeing this video... *throws hand in the air and snaps* ive never been tested like that before

  • bring this back!

  • Great song

  • definitely remember these guys. were firmly part of the "landscape" of mid-late 80's hard rock scene. not my favorite band by any means, but..they fit in with many others of that era. miss it bad. anyway, my opinion? Finest girl in the video @: 0:22 good lord! love her "Professional Look with that Chauffeur hat. yummy! again at 2:38 and 4:10. didn't show her "nearly" enough. other chicks were ok i guess. couple shots made a few of them look like "Dudes"! scary. I'll take 0:22

  • autografh was so 80s

  • bad ass song

  • Who gives a fuck if your 14 and listen to 80's?

  • damn, loved the 80's. it's my era in fact, as i was in a hard rock band then called "Northrup" doin a lot of showcasing all around Nor. Cal and L.A. Bay area, all that........but i gotta say, i can't click on any friggin' 80's vid anymore where......one of the dudes is dead. bums' me out. shit, in a short 25 or so years, life sure changes. a lot can happen. luckily at this point, at 50, i'm still here. which one was Steve Isham. singer? R.I.P nonetheless.

  • @drumdude46 Steve Isham was the keyboardist.

  • @drumdude46 Thanks for the RIP....Steve Isham was my Uncle. He is the keyboard player and actually wrote Turn Up The Radio. It was 2 years ago on December 16th he passed away. What a sad day but I know he is still here in spirit and in heaven playing the piano for everyone.

  • GIRLS OF AMERICA: DYE YOUR HAIR BLONDE!

  • Freakin Awesome! The 80s rule! Timeless song!

  • Thumbs up for these guys to get back together!!!

    RIP Steve Isham

  • @0:05 Dee Snider wanna be,smh.

  • R.I.P. Steven Isham

  • 80s - so much better than the current C -- Rap.

  • Que video mas 80 como mola.

  • Its a Charvel

  • THEEEEEE only music 4 ME!

  • ma questi sono l'apoteosi degli anni 80!!!!!!!

  • I love the band`s heavy use of synthesizers. And the two handed solos, just great.

  • Damn. to bad the were a one hit wonder. uhm then I listened to these lyrics. good musicians, bad lyrics. Motley wannabes.

  • LOVE IT!!! Brings back ALOT of great memories!

  • Autograph una gran banda de hard rock, magnifica voz.

  • wat kind of guitar is steve plunk playing??

  • @DeathByTheTail i think its some sort of Kramer judging by the top of the neck

  • @DeathByTheTail Probably a Guild. Those are the guitars Plunk endorsed. Or maybe a Charvel/Jackson?

  • awsome damn song. love 70s and 80s music.

  • Black C4 Corvette FTW! this song rocks!

  • Fuckin 80's glam and hair metal rules!!!

  • HAHA ONE WORD MY LYNCH MOUTH MURMURS AWESOMMESSSS

  • FUCKING AWESOME VOICE OF STEVE PLUNKETT AND AMAZING GUITAR OF LYNCH!! I miss the 80's music!

  • With stupidity like this it's no wonder this genre died a quick death in the early 90s.

  • @HeavyMetalForeve1000

With asshat comments like yours, it's no wonder that 9 out of 10 people think that you're a tool. Good job.

  • FUCK RAP! Thumbs up if u agree :D

  • @1dingdongproductions And dubstep

  • @1dingdongproductions 80's rap is Ok but thats about it

  • Hair, make-up, earrings, this was all part of the heavy/pop metal/rock show. This was just the style in the 80's for Metal/Rock Music. No one looked at it as strange as this was just what was in for the day. Music and style changes with the passing of time like everything else. Glad I grew up in the 80's.

  • Here it is almost 25 years later ! A Friday night and I'm watching some of the same videos I watched back then !!

  • catchy and cheesy, in a a good way!!!!!

  • does anyone else think that the name of the song is kind of racist and so is the theme i mean a blonde cant drive a black car

  • @mysteryman1606 wtf?! how is it racist?! thats the colour of the car you knob! and you are being sexist too saying blondes can't drive black cars, go to California mate, then you'll see!

  • I was one of those back in the 80's!!!! Had a blast!!!!

  • they are all wearing earrings... i guess that was in back then

  • what type of car is that 1:11?

  • @Halfno that would be an 80's something corvette. Long live big hair rock.

  • @Halfno that would be a corvette

  • Wonder if GEORGE LYNCH & STEVE LYNCH are related 'cause they both sure know how to SHRED hard.....

  • @madometal

Yes they actually are related just so you know:-)

  • @surfacing0lust thank you.

  • @madometal Just to let you know they are not related. Steve is my guitar teacher and i asked them if they were at all. Steve said as a joke "Were Divorced" I thought they were until he told me.

  • Party!!

  • The 80's were the Last decade that Kids actually listened to Rock in their Cars and Looked and Dressed the part. Not like today where all kids Listen to Nothing but that Rap and Hip- Hop Crap. I'd take the 80's anyday.

  • 80s rock is the best rock of all times

  • 1985 cd thats the stuff

  • what year is this song from?

  • LOL DOG

  • I used to love this song. Back in the 80's when I was blonde and drove a black car, Good Old Days

  • Funny, I remember LOVING this video back in the day, but I could have sworn it was a Y&T song. Oh well, I guess the memory is always the first to go. This song always made me think of the scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High with Nancy Wilson in the black Vette. Hot!

  • this is when great music was king

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhh i love this song :P but im burnet hahahahaha not problem i love that =D

  • This is great guitar work! if you wan't call it that; but this whole band knows how to put it down. When i think 80's, there's a number of awesome groups that come to mind. Autograph is definitely one of them!!

  • songs we used to attempt when we were like young adults.... ohhh god i look back on the 80's now as ...the good old days

  • do like this song , but the singer is no David lee roth thats 4 sure , M. Anthony sings back up vocals on this pretty cool

  • random but awsomeness wooooooo!

  • Used to listen to this song every Fri/Sat night before going out cruising. Now mind you I had the video recorded on VHS !!!!!! Thanks for the memories !!!

  • im a teenager and thats all i listen to any music made after the 80's is just a waste of time, i bought serious radio just for the 80's channel

  • You can't touch the 80s. the 90s sucked balls. the new shit is just THAT, shit! even teenagers love the 80s music. You can't touch the 80s!

  • @eandatoo Damn right!

  • I agree

    i'm a 70's/80's guy, but I like a very tiny bit of 90's metal

  • @eandatoo 90s didnt suck balls... well the late 90s did. i think things went ok like the first 3 years..lol

then it went downhill.. i was born in 93 -.- WTF

  • @1234gnrslash You were born in 93. So it's all YOUR fault? :)

  • Van Leppard or Def Halen?

I don't care if they do sound like Van Halen/Def Leppard spawn.Autograph are a good band and deserve more credit than just that band who sings Turn Up The Radio.

    Autograph = Great 80's band.

  • @nitroass23B agreed

  • @nitroass23B yeah I agree. Ironically Van Halen and Def Leppard are my favorite bands lol and I don't think they sound like either of them lol. Autograph had their fame but I wish they went farther.

  • @nitroass23B lol i actually thought they were van halen first time i heard them.

    But they still kick ass

  • Autograph is great. I dig this band alot. their sound is like fusing van halen and def leppard's tunes together. which they also said are their influences. it would be cool if they got back together again if steve isham hadn't died. we all dedicate this music vid to you steve, keep on rockin' up there in heaven!!!

  • those were the days

  • This music makes me wanna strip butt fuckin' naked and dance like a little bitch all over the streets of Des Moines.

  • This guitar solo kicks all kinds of ass..., todays music doesn't shread like this, and it doesn't Rock either.....20 plus years and the 80's Still Rule...

  • hell yeah Steve Lynch shredding is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G just can't compare to today's so called guitar players and besides his guitar playing he one hella of one awesome sweet friend of mind and autograph does deserve so much credit their honestly underrated sucks horribly:-/ at least unlike many one hit wonder bands most of these guys have done alot within the music industry.

  • i didnt know about this group or song till i heard it on sirus. like it alot!

  • I love that kind of guitar solos...really miss them these days.

  • don't need no car, but I surely need a blonde =)

  • Dude Autograph aren't a joke, they're a good band man, whats wrong with having a good time?

  • yeah specially when it gets to that part before the solo!!!

  • Comment removed

  • They were also good friends with OZZY.

  • se parecen al grupo def leppard

  • Nothing...Absolutely nothing like the 80'ssss

  • Autograph is a great fucking glam metal band ne1 else agree with me!!??

  • i'm with you!

  • i agree all the way man.

  • I was the drummer in a band in 1985, and this was one of the songs we did that really got the crowd cranked up. I had the pleasure of seeing them that year also open for motley crue. They put on a helluva great show. Nothing will ever replace the 80's hair bands.

  • They also opened up for VH, 1984

  • lol. you sound so tough. i'm jealous.....

  • One of Autograph's greatest songs. A really underrated band, which is a damn shame.

  • Just hush and enjoy or go to something else please !

  • From someone who was there digging the music I say just shut up and enjoy or click off of it !

  • Heh, your comment will continue to gain negative replies (thumbs down) but I simply admire it.

  • Awesome Song! Im 16 years old but loving 80's Rock!

  • Same here, my dad taught me to use my ears for good music, not evil.

  • @ledari Same Hereee haha (: ! i wish it was the 80s againn :( we missed out on good songs D:

  • @NatGnrRock there was bands out there bringing it back...Reckless Love, CrashDiet, Scream Arena, The Poodles, ...seek and you shall rock!

  • @ledari STAY WITH THE 80'S!

    NEW MUSIC SUCKS!

  • @alisimon5 Yeah, it really sucks! All my schoolmates listen to that computer generated shit. Today, rappers are old school, although they were only played in the sandpit when great music was playing in those '80s. If rap is old school, this glam kind of great music (don't think I love rap) is ancient, and it's a fucking bad sign for all normal-taste people, for us! SAVE GOOD MUSIC, START PLAYIN' AGAIN!

  • @ledari Dude! the same with me I'm 17!

    80's metal forever!

  • @ledari OMGoshh!! you like the 80s too thats awsome!! xD im 15 and i like the 80s 2

  • @ledari you want a gold star a medal or a trophy mother fucker

  • Lets stop being bitches and bring real rock back!!!Fuck alternative rock

    GLAM FOREVER!!!

  • R.I.P. Steven Isham

  • Well, I would argue that image has had a lot to do with it ever since Elvis. Just a different image, and one I wish I'd been around for! I was born ten years too late--now all those guys have cut their beautiful hair...bogus.

  • This is what I miss about the 80's music. It was all about having a good time. Today its all about image.

  • Same here. It's not rock n' roll anymore, it's more like whining about girlfriends and being depressed for no good reason. I don't know what's so awesome about that.

  • like mickey rourke said in the wrestler regarding 80s metal 'we were just trying to have a good time then that pussy kurt cobain came along and ruined everything...'

  • I agree. I was a metal head back in the day. There wasn't a metal band from the 80's that I have not seen live. I had long hair, the fringed leather jacket. Then in 1989 I went to college. I was expanding my mind, I wasn't a 13 year old kid anymore that just wants listen to songs only about chicks, partying, and dragons. This is music specifically geared toward teenage high school boys. Hell, even teenage high school boys these days think this stuff is ridiculous.

  • If that's a real quote I like it!!

  • @fatdudley this comment made my day :]

  • @tommylee2719 my pleasure =) im really not into rock music at all, or todays 'rock' music but theres just something incredible about motley crue, autograph, twisted sister etc..

  • @fatdudley man! if you like the hair bands which I do as well you should check out my cover band L.A. ROXX! We cover all those bands dude! We are a national act too! It's fuckn awesome, we have lights, lasers, fog machines! Check it dude! We are trying to bring it back

  • I can't believe it--cancer fucking sucks. RIP Steven Isham! ;(
