Man I was 12-13 when I saw this in the arcade.. I'll never forget that.. I must have rented a SNES with this game a half a dozen times.. I also remember being disapointed that the N64 wasn't able to have those sweet intro videos like the arcade had.

When my arcade first got this, I could barely see what was going on because of the big crowd, and the fact I was usually one of the youngest and shortest. This and all the other "headliners" were put in these big "jumbo" cabinets, I wish I knew the correct term for them. They don't make games with jacked up heavy music anymore...games competed on the floor in a loudness war of sorts

Rare lost the stamper brothers, David Wise and half of the old crew. If you wanna see Killer Instinct 3, you'll see it in some mishaped form and then you wont count it as a "Killer Instinct" game.

Damn, there's nothing like the original! This game was and is still cool. I don't know why they haven't made another iteration. The Killer Instinct license belongs to Microsoft since they currently own Rare. This would be a sweet exclusive to the console and a dream come true. Imagine Fulgore's looks running on the up and coming Unreal Engine 4. Maybe fighting a Theron Guard from Gears of War.
