C.R is a better all round player. He can do free kicks, corners, good with heading, strong on the ball and more tricks then Messi, however Messi is one off the best dribblers off the ball I have ever seen.He is far better then C.R with the dribble. His finish is good also. They are both different style off players and both excel at what they do best. Can't compare them both to each other

Goals are not the most important aspect of this game when it comes to defining who is the best, greatest, etc. otherwise more than half of the all time greats would not be considered legends (i.e. Beckenbauer, Zidane) there is more to this game than goals.
