Kristen Stewert is not that great of an actress. She's very underdeveloped and dull in ALL of her movies. It seems like Bella Swan with different accents and haircuts. An actress doesn't just change their appearance and read a script. They become that character. And sadly, Kristen fails to show that she develops a connection with the character, and so that character loses depth...

Kristen was good in the messengers and speak ONLY because the character she was playing had problems - the messengers she had gotten in huge trouble and in speak she was raped. As for her other movies - she really isnt that good. I think she's just too depressing when she acts, she has no emotion and dont get me wrong I mean that can come in handy for some movies, but I personally think she needs more enthusiasm in her movies.

Twilight is a hard one. NO ONE likes the character bella. so annoying. even kristen doesnt like her. she works hard to make her likable, and i think she does that well.

I think she USED to be a good actress but Nnow she's just terrible. And I'm not fond of her as a person either. I think she COULD act but she just doesn't know how to build a barrier between herself and her character we always end up thinking that the character is Kristen, not Kristen is the character.

She doesnt know how to seperate herself from her character because in every movie she still does her real life habits such as biting her lip,stuttering,flipping her hair,and alot other stuff. Acting is when you become someone else but she doesnt. I mean look at Johnny Depp he becomes completely unrecognizable when he acts which is why he is talented.

I agree with @TheJoannaSmiles. Kristen IS a good actress.
Look at her movies "Welcome to the Rileys" , "The Runaways" and "Adventureland".
People just think shes a bad actress because of the Twilight series as bella. But people need to realize that bella is a very hard part to play cuz shes boring and dull. Its not Kristens fault. If you saw Breaking Dawn:Part 1 she did a huge amount of improving as bella. In my opinon.

Lol, i think Kristen Steward plays Bella perfectly, because Bella is that annoying, quiet girl. She p*ssed me off in the book, and she also did in the movie. So, she must've done something right. Kristen is a good actor, Bella is a horrible character, there's a difference. And Twilight, the movie, don't get me started on that one.

@hardcorezombi her charater is confused, as Bella puts it in the movie, " I always felt out of step, like literally stumbling through my life" She doesn't know her purpose is in life, or how to start living it, When Edward comes along it throws her , because she's not the kind of person that is meant to life a "normal" life :) No Hate, i personally find that she portrayed Bella well. I think that if they had stuck to the actual Bella in the book, people would like her more. Just my opinion :)

I saw the honeymoon and it look depressing....
bella in the book was so excited to finally walk that virgin road and let edward have everything
but when kristen was bella it was just not what anyone expected..
so depressing.. her acting was soo blank, empty..
but here, she's better... but bella will haunt her career as we doubt her acting skills
