  • Fantastic video going to get the KX3. Would like to get the same Buddipole set up as used in the video. Little SI for Summits - SOTA could you send or post a parts list on the buddipole setup. 73. North Bend Wa.

  • @BryGT500 Contact Chris or JD and ask them about their Adjustable Shockcord Whips!

antenna used was a shockcord mast, versatee, mini-coil, and the adjustable shockcord whip. Yes, indeed can't wait! ...the KX3 will ROCK the Goat's world too!

  • Thanks Steve, great video!

  • I want this video on my GS500 Cookie Plus phone.

  • Can you post (or PM me) with the Buddipole components you use? I want to replicate the setup and can't quite figure out what parts you're using.

  • History in the making. I'm gonna own it and I can't wait. 73!

  • Hi guys, good vid... can you please ad IP30 to your tags so people who are looking for vids on the new analyzer will find this one... WN8ATM gave me the link to find this vid as I'm researching buying one... did you guys like using the analyzer on the Buddipole? Not sure if I should get the IP30 (new to the market) or the MFJ-259B (fairly stable product history)...

    Your thoughts?

  • "That'd be fun!" - my XYL's comment... mine too!! thanks Steve de NG9D Lynn . .

  • Nice video! Cool radio! TU! 73s

  • Awesome! The KX3 is so on my wish list. If only importing stuff to UK from the states didn't make the prices so ridiculous. I'll have to rob a bank, win the lottery or work overtime for six months and then get my cousin sneak one in her luggage next time she is over. I'm sure Elecraft will sell loads and it will soon be as common to see the KX3 being used by SOTA operators as the Yaesu FT-817. 10 out of 10 for the innovative design.

  • Superb to see the KX3 prototypes being used for SOTA. The KX3 will certainly set the standard for portable operating. It's great to see that the Elecraft team have kept the faith with the TFR format!

  • Yea good to see Steve back in the video production :) Is that a goat cam on your hat Steve? :)

  • Nice big group for a SOTA activation :-)

  • Well, looks like you are back to hamvideos business for good ;-) Super super super, I wanna more!
